We paid for this hotel once when we booked through Expedia and once when we arrived at the hotel. Hilton told us Expedia never forwarded the money and charged us again. Why did Expedia not forward the funding that was charged to our credit card to Hilton? We are very upset and will take action.

The is close to the airport. Free shuttle every 15 mins Room was spacious and clean. Front staff were good. Unfortunately I can’t say that for restaurant and bar staff.

A rainy night in Rome

We were looking for the convenience of an airport hotel because we were arriving in Rome late. Instead we found ourselves searching inside and outside the terminal on a rainy night trying to find the pick up spot for the proudly advertised "hotel shuttle". Taxis wanted 45 euro for the run, explaining this as a sort of penalty fee for being such a short trip. A battered old bus eventually appeared and did a milk run to the hotel, picking up and dropping off airport staff along the way. Wet and exhausted, we mentioned our experience at check in. "You arrived, didn't you?" was the reply. And arrive we had, to find a tired, somewhat shabby property. That also sums up the service.

There was no/limited hot water. Maintenance bypassed thermostatic leaving the heat on and no way to control it. The bed was super firm and not comfortable. Would not recommend. I expected more from a Hilton property.

While "at the airport" there is little signage or assistance to guide travelers. What does exist takes you to a sister property which pretty much tells you to get lost/find your own way to the Garden Inn. So, make sure you go OUTSIDE to find the shuttle, don NOT follow the Hilton signage/walkways inside. Hotel itself is a cavern with a chaotic restaurant and bar designed like a giant cafeteria. Pass on the breakfast -- you are better off at the airport.

It was very nice but the WiFi said insecure and I couldn’t figure out how to use it. When I called the front desk to ask if there was a continental breakfast no one answered. And they don’t mention it on check-in. You could hear through the walls.
