Millenium hotel was quite nice. It had a nice spa hot tub area and a decent sized pool. The staff are very helpful and attentive. Hotel rooms were very clean with pretty nice pillows and beds. The location is good within walking distance to a number of restaurants including dakbi the Korean fried chicken place which was really good and quite popular. If staying in Rotorua this is a good choice. You get a view of the lake from your room depending on the location of your room. It’s next to the Polynesian spa as well.

Nice room and stunning bathroom. Lovely hot pool & plunge pool. Had a very good evening meal and enjoyed a few drinks in the bar. Very good location for the lake & short drive to the Maori village tour.

Was was recently renovated but air conditioning could not keep up. Had multiple issues. Stopped working the first night and we could not sleep. Main aged at front desk said it was fixed. Second night was okay and then third night made this really loud screaching noise at 1am that woke us up. Sadly to say, even though they credited us for the last night, I can’t say I’d stay here again. Location was great just in front of Polynesian spa but breakfast was really lacking, location of breakfast was poor, compared to other locations we stayed at over the 10 days we were travelling around NZ. There are not many great hotels to stay at in Rotorua so you may have to do more research

Very nice hotel in Rotorua, conveniently located within walking distance of Polynesian Spa (hot springs pools), Eat Street with many restaurants and only 10 minute drive to Mitai Maori village. We recommend this hotel for a nice stay in Rotorua.
