Surrounded by beautiful trees with a large fire pit Pavilion. Recently renovated house in the country side situated in the center of the Saguenay Lac-St-Jean Region just outside of the city of Jonquière. The house comes with a heated swimming pool and a covered theraputic massage hot tub. Located near lakefront Lac-Kenogami, it is ten minutes drive from the city, five minute drive from the public beach and fifteen minutes drive to the boat launch. Beautiful bicycle trail in the summer. Close access to Provincial skidoo trails and a LOCKABLE shed that can store at least six skidoos. Snowshoeing, cross country trails and downhill skiing is nearby. The house has a stone fireplace and all new appliances (washer /dryer /dishwasher /OTR microwave /self cleaning oven /twin refrigerators /outdoor barbecue and corn cooker /Kuerig /wafflemaker /55" Roku TV with Nintendo Wii and a Movie selection / WIFI )

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour ici. La maison était bien équipée et les propriétaires ont pensé à tout. La piscine chauffée était super et notre famille s'est bien amusée en l'utilisant. Fantastic property, wonderful hosts

My family (2 adults, 2 teens) stayed for 4 nights at this incredible property. The entire process from start to finish was incredibly easy. Our host was readily available and responded quickly to any and all communication. The property is well stocked with anything you could need and includes lots of extras such as games and comfort items. The hosts have been very thoughtful in stocking their home. We hope to go back and visit again.

Magnifique séjour

Nous étions de passage au Saguenay pour visiter la famille et les amis. Nous avons pu passer du temps autour du feu avec tout le monde. La piscine chauffée était parfaite pour le temps chaud que nous avons eu. La maison est très bien équipée, il y a tout ce qu'il faut! Nos amis ont l'intention de louer la maison tellement ils ont apprécié!

Nous avons passé quelques jours à l’hébergement avec notre cocotte de 21 mois et c’était très bien! La cours est parfaite autant avec la piscine, le spa, l’espace feu et les modules extérieurs pour enfants. Nous n’avons manqué de rien dans la maison. Tout est bien pensé pour les invités . Le seul petit bémol est que la propriété est situé sur un chemin assez passant . Un séjour tout de même très agréable! Merci!

Fantastic Experience

Whether you are travelling for work or pleasure this is a great rental. You get a cottage-like atmosphere and all the amenities are nearby. My colleague and I travelled from different parts of the country to attend training and work in the area. When we arrived we were ready to make a list of what we needed to pick up but the owners have thought of it all. We really only had to pick up groceries. The house is clean and the two bedrooms are great for couples, individuals or multiple younger kids. When we wanted to relax after work there were not only games and videos to entertain but also tv (lots of channels and subscription services). Great pool and hot tub to use too. Added to it for us was the benefit of the short drive to training, work and amenitiesThere are walking trails just across the street or within a short drive as well as other activities. Really appreciated the portable air conditioners in each room which helped sleeping on those hotter evenings. The owner was quick to respond to emails leading up to our rental dates and questions during our stay. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this rental and the owners. Great experience and we hope to be back again!

Fantastic home and location

This property has anything you could possibly need during your stay. Kitchen is very well stocked with spices, cooking staples, pots and pans, dishes for use outdoor. Plenty of bath towels, robes and footwear for the hot tub. The house is located next to the snowmobile trail, making it very convenient. They also have a very nice building to store your snowmobile during your stay. You will feel at home from the moment you enter!

Wonderful place with so much to do!

Simply loved staying here. The indoor space is great, two large bedrooms with comfy beds, plenty of bedding and pillows. The kitchen was very well-appointed, with even some basic food items. The outdoor hot tub was a dream, and the outdoor covered fire pit was such a pleasure on cold nights. There’s a large garage for your fun toys, we brought e-bikes and snowshoes. The snowmobile trail is very close, and we snowshoed all over the hills behind and beside the house. We had a few issues that were immediately attended to, very friendly owner and maintenance people. Snow is removed by 3rd party. We spent a month and had a fabulous time, would return in a heartbeat! Thank you, Miryam, for such a pleasant vacation home to stay at.

My husband and I spent a week here snowmobiling in the region. There was ample parking, a garage available to lock our snowmobiles in and the trail access was about 200m down the road from the house. The house was well stocked and we had a great time there and on the beautiful snowmobile trails this region offers.

We loved our time at Rendez-Vous Chez Mimi. It was a perfect jumping point to many attractions in the Saguenay area including Lac Kenogami, Lac Saint Jean and Musee du Fjord. Some other comments: - Pool was very clean and enjoyed by the entire family. - Beds were very comfortable. - Kitchen also had a very practical layout. We visited in August 2021 (2 adults, 1 senior and 2 kids).

Cosy rural cottage

We spent 5 nights here in an usually warm April and spent the time hiking at lac St Jean, the fjords and trails that start right behind the cottage. The house was very clean with a good range of kitchen equipment and plenty of outdoor equipment too. It was too early for the pool but we took advantage of the hot tub and fire pit and children would be delighted with the play equipment We had one small issue while we were there and Miriam was immediately responsive and in contact until it was resolved. We were aware of the road noise in the living area and outside but couldn’t hear it from bedrooms at all. Miriam, Darren and the family members who came to fix the problem were lovely to deal with and we’d definitely stay again if we were in the area

Getaway!!!!

Amazing place to stay!

We had an amazing stay! We wanted a change of scenery this summer and, with COVID, we wanted a place where we could hang out and not go anywhere if we felt like it. This property far exceeded our expectations! The pool was lovely and warm, so we could even swim on the days that weren’t as hot! The hot tub was perfect and we appreciated that it was screened all around. My kids (4, 7) loved the play area outside - it was like our own personal playground right in the back yard. And we loved the fire pit area! We ate dinner there once (rain prevented us from doing it other days!) and had bonfires to roast marshmallows. We tried out the bike path that is accessible across the road and it was great (albeit unexpectedly hilly!) The house itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Overall, we could not have been happier!!

Everything you need for a perfect family vacation, great view, pool, hot tub, board games and & Netflix. Hosts respond quickly, chalet is exactly as described, fully stocked, we didn’t miss a thing. The only regrets we had were not bringing our bikes.
