Great Hotel

Pros: decor
Cons: in room tech
Location: not a glam location but perfect for industrial estate I was visiting
Certainly not a fancy location but the hotel is amazing. Beautiful interior, great staff, big room, good food - one tiny issue and that is limited technology in rooms (freeview tv on an old tv - but I was quite happy to have a night off anyway)!

Nice hotel outside city

Hotel is outside the city and be as much as a 30-40 minutes by luas depending on the time you get it. Taxi is about 15 minutes in light traffic for around €18| Hotel has been up graded and the new extension is excellent! Staff were nothing to write home about, average at best! Over all an average stay! But cheaper option then city centre if your not using taxis and can rely on public transport!

Perfect location for luas and if you are traveling

When I got back to the Red Cow Hotel after my company night out I realised that I left my phone in the Taxi , reception and security could not do enough to help retrieve it , thanks to them I was reunited with my third hand. Well done to them.

Building site

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: n/a
On arrival I was told that I was staying in the new development. after sharing the lift with tradesmen carrying tools in a dirty lift I got to the second floor when the doors opened the carpet fitters were still laying carpet in the passage way and tradesmen were fitting out rooms. I wanted to do some work and when I opened the curtains there was still scaffolding across the window which was still covered in plastic ! the noise from people drilling was deafening and so I went to work in the foyer. At 07.20 on the last morning someone started working with a hammer and at reception people were complaining that they had no water or electricity.I realise that they are trying to improve and extend the hotel but they should at least wait until the work is finished before putting guests in the rooms especially at the extortionate rates that are charged. I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions but wont be staing again. I have stayed at th

Close to LUAS

Pros: Location to Luas
Cons: I understand the hotel is being upgraded but our room was not part of the upgrade so why is the room not being maintained?
Location: Luas however walk from hotel to Luas and then the Luas into city centre is about 40mins.
Staff were just about friendly. Check-in was quick and painless. Check out was slow and staff member was unsure of what to do. Close to Luas and free parking in hotel was great. Room had two skyline (roofline) windows one of which had the handle hanging off and both had holes in the blinds. The bed which was a queen was meant to have a cover over the top part of the bed but that was missing so looking up from lying on the bed is a timber frame with nothing on it. These took from the room especially when I paid for an upgrade to a junior suite and this is what we got. I emailed the hotel two days in advance about the room as I was wondering about the construction going on in the hotel in relation to the room we would get. They did not reply to my email. The room we got was away from the construction but have no idea if this was a coincidence or if the hotel had done this for us. Breakfast was good. The breads were fresh and service was good and friendly.

Overnight family stay

My family have stayed here before and would recommend this hotel. Just opposite the park and ride and so very easy to get into Dublin city. Hotel is very clean, spotless rooms with everything that is needed for a very comfortable stay. Nice areas to relax and have some quiet time. Excellent food, and very friendly staff.

Great overnight

Was at the hotel for a Conference and decided to stay overnight.Good venue for a conference. Room was excellent, warm despite the awful day outside. Bar lunch was good in quality and value. Dinner in the restaurant was a bit of a disappointment - starter of smoked salmon was minuscule and the main course could have been much warmer. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice, quick service by very friendly staff. Would recommend the Red Cow to friends.
