casAcamer – a house born from love

In 1960, António Acamer built this house himself, nine months after losing his wife. With little money and a broken heart, he laid each brick as a tribute to her—the woman who gave him three daughters in four years, thanks to healing sea baths that restored her health. His dream: to live close to the sea.



The land was once part of an agricultural estate where hollyhocks were grown for perfumes. This flower, symbolizing survival through love, still fills the spirit of the place.



Today, casAcamer is the retreat António envisioned: a haven for sea and tranquility lovers, facing the Mediterranean within a protected wetland bird reserve (Natura 2000 Network), with minimal interventions to preserve its unique ecosystem.



For 44 years, the 13 seafront houses of Cases de Queralt have withstood storms, standing as a model of resilience. Since 2007, authorities have threatened to revoke property rights due to its coastal location, but residents remain steadfast. In May 2026, an EU-funded coastal regeneration project restored the beach to its 1960 state, recovering years of history. Built by marshland farmers and part-time builders, it offers city dwellers a place to rest by the sea.



The 50 m² private space features a living room with exclusive sea views, a renovated kitchen, two bedrooms with views, and a bathroom with shower. Ideal for 3 guests, up to 4.



Natural, sustainable cooling: ceiling fans and mosquito screens use the sea breeze to keep temperatures lower than outside. Air conditioning activates automatically on hot days. TV, Wi-Fi, washing machine, dryer, and beach towels are included.

Super entspannter Urlaub, mit viel Ruhe und toller Aussicht

Pros: Amelia ist eine super nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Wir hatten ein kleines Problem mit zwei Steckdosen und Amelia hat sich umgehend darum gekümmert. Perfekt !!!! Das Bad wurde neu renoviert und ist noch besser als auf den Bildern zu sehen. Für drei Personen ideal. Der Strand ist in unmittelbarer Nähe, keine 50 Meter vom Eingang entfernt. Wobei wir den zweiten Strand bevorzugt haben, aber dieser ist auch nur gut 100 Meter vom Eingang entfernt. Unter der Woche waren beiden Stränden fast menschenleer und selbst am Wochenende waren es am kleineren Strand maximal 50 Personen. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist grandios und da während unseres Aufenthalts immer ein kleine kleine Brise vom Meer aus vorhanden war lies es sich nachts auch gut schlafen. Einfach ein super toll entspannender Urlaub. Was Wunder das wir fürs nächste Jahr bereits wieder gebucht haben. Cons: Nicht gefallen ist falsch formuliert, aber man muss wissen das man ohne Auto oder fahrbaren Untersatz Schwierigkeiten hätte einzukaufen.
