Our stay at this hotel was actually not bad in any way, I would just say there are a few things that have been overlooked as the hotel has aged. The rooms were spacious, however they obviously had not been maintenanced in a while (i.e. paint and fixing any little wear and tear from frequent use). Rooms were clean and staff were friendly and kind. Very convenient 7 minute walk into the city center or the front desk can set you up with free tram service with the public transit system which I thought was exceptionally kind! We opted to walk and it was quite nice being able to see the views on our way into town. Breakfast was mid at best, I only tried it one morning and quickly realized it was not worth the 20+ euros. It is conveniently located next to a clean petrol station that we were able to pick up waters, juice, and snacks from. The gym had 4 machines and some weights but the treadmill was down. We didn't try the sauna based on the status on the hotel maintenance. All in all. A solid stay that may be slightly overpriced for the current state of the hotel, but with some refreshing it could be back up to it's original status.

We really enjoyed our stay, it is a bit of a walk into the old town centre but nothing too bad. Everyone was quite nice and there are lots of supermarkets, including a biomarket, within a few minutes walk.

Good choice of breakfast with several options. There is a good bus service directly outside the hotel with good links throughout salzburg, including the airport. A local spar next door with all you wish for in the way of snacks and drinks

Check in reception was cold and didn’t feel any welcoming manners. Breakfast coffee was terrible and staffs were not professional, who made a lot of noise. Room curtains looked very tired and had tear which should be fixed. Waste baskets were cheap as hospital uses.

Lovely hotel, but a bit of a walk (or short bus journey) into the centre & the old town. Our only complaint was the breakfast. It’s advertised as open until 10am week days and 11am at weekends. However when we went for breakfast around 9:15 and 10am at the weekend all the hot food was cold as the hot plates had been turned off. Also, they didn’t seem to have a supply of basic stuff to replenish plates. If the pastries had run out by 9:15 it was too bad, no more available.
