It is paid parking everywhere around downtown. Even at the hotel you have to pay to park. The hotel is in a convenient location and walking distance from all the tourist attractions. Overall was happy.

I booked a room for my son's girlfriend to stay so she could see his graduation for his Navy A school at Fort Sam Houston. They turned her away because she was not 21. I immediately requested a refund. They denied my refund because they have a no cancelation policy. We did not cancel, they did. So they get to keep my money even though no services were rendered. Uhm, isn't that stealing? AVOID THIS PLACE!!! UPDATE: Expedia(booked through) would not refund me, but a big THANK YOU to PayPal(paid through) for refunding me my money!

Great for the price, especially with breakfast inc

Overall the stay was good. It was comfortable and for the price it was great. Staff was wonderful. Room was small, but quiet and clean. Breakfast was had a surprisingly large selection. My only negative was that the parking was not convenient and it was an add on fee. I was told at the front desk the parking in their lot was $20 or I could park around the corner for $15. We chose closer as I was traveling with a child, and ended up with a $25 charge to my card vs the $20 I was expecting. Otherwise all was well.

To check in it took is between checkin and getting our car parked properly at least an hour
We had originally parked here and the front desk told us to move the car because it was for staff and we told them that the sign says guests but he still made us move the car.
