Outstanding experience! Felt like home away from home. Room was spacious and accommodating with full kitchen available. Excellent selection of healthy and baked items included with breakfast, coffee was delicious and always full and dining area was cozy and clean. Enchanting court yard with family friendly games and relaxation. Lastly the staff were so friendly and helpful. Definitely staying again.

Worst hotel experience EVER

The hotel was going thru a renovation and the first night we woke up at 4 am and couldn't breathe very well due to the thick solder smoke from them working on plumbing on thre floor below us. Then we constantly had issues with extremely loud construction noises. Also the water was cut off each night from midnight till 4 am and it was aslo cut off during the day multiple times. Also they had to come in a reseat the toilet because it was leaking on the floor below. It was one issue aftet another we were told that a managet would call and talk to us about reducing the cost of our stay, especially since it was one of the worst experiences we've ever had. We came to this same hotel 6 years ago and this was our 6th year anniversary which was absolutely unacceptable.

Our experience at the Residence Inn by Marriott San Antonio Six Flags at The Rim was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt well cared for and warmly welcomed—even when a small issue came up with our reservation. The front desk staff responded quickly, kindly, and professionally to resolve the situation and made sure everything was in place for us to enjoy a worry-free stay. We’d like to give a very special thank you to Jorge, Andrea, and their supervisor Celica, who showed exceptional dedication and empathy. They treated us with warmth and patience, and it was clear they genuinely care about the well-being of their guests. We also want to highlight the outstanding work of Ivet, our housekeeper, who was incredibly kind and attentive. She always left our room spotless, tidy, and with a fresh, welcoming atmosphere—something we truly appreciated throughout our stay. The breakfast staff was equally excellent. Although we didn’t get their names, we noticed and appreciated their friendliness and consistent effort to keep everything clean, organized, and well-stocked every morning. We also thoroughly enjoyed the pool, it was clean, well-maintained, and a great addition to the overall experience. Beyond the facilities, what truly made this stay special was the attention and care from the staff. They made us feel at home—something that’s increasingly rare these days. We’ll definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Antonio.

Disappointing Stay for Six Flags

Upon check in, I asked if another room might be available. I was told that because I booked through a third party website (they always tell me it’s Expedia), I could not make any changes to my original reservation. I’ve been offered an upgrade if I’m willing to pay for the upgrade. I found this unsatisfactory that I couldn’t be accommodated if I was willing to pay more. As far as the room went, the sofa couch and bed itself was uncomfortable. Room 216. I would call several times over the course of two nights and several times, I would get no answer and had to keep calling. For staying 2 nights, I expected to have my room tended. Sheets changed, new towels, empty trash, etc. but no one tended our room. The pool was nice but I feel that there better options for my family next time.
