Lovely hotel and great staff. We were greeted on arrival by Niamh on reception and she was lovely very cheerful and helpful made us so welcome. The breakfast and food is lovely and plentiful. The thermal suite is great to unwind and relax in and the outdoor jacuzzi great. We have stayed here several times and love it. Hope to be back soon 10/10

Exact label of Castle for this Hotel is the number one most favorite specific label to embrace. Absolutely everyone loves the name of Dunboyne Castle Hotel. Very relaxing in the outskirts of Dublin. With solid, easy enough access to public transportation. For the elite, wealthy, well privileged type of tourists. Although, even people on a budget are able to also successfully put themselves into this top rank Hotel if they try. Well worth the experience without any regret. Visit their Banquet room with the Chandeliers. Go to their Spa with Pool, Sauna room, well connected relaxation rooms. Include breakfast with room rate. Otherwise, Breakfast is 15 to 18 Euros. Have a three course Lunch at The Terrace inside this Hotel for 23 Euros. Those options are there! I am very happy to have stayed at the Dunboyne Castle Hotel. Reminds me of Kokkedal Slot Castle Hotel in Copenhagen Denmark. Unique, one of a kind, special solid landmark Hotels.

Poor value for money

- Nice reception and bar area but rooms are a bit dated and could do with some TLC considering the price for one night stay - Awful lack of plug sockets in rooms - Staff at reception on check out not overly friendly - 25 Euro extra per person to use the pool - Breakfast also extra on top of an expensive room only rate

Receptionist not very welcoming and had to replace my key cause the lock would not work and told me it was my fault for having the key near my phone ! Even though it was the lock was damaged on the room . I choose to stay there to use the pool and sauna after working to discover there a €40 charge and you have to book in advance to use “terminal spa” did see this on booking . Over all hotel room was nice and breakfast choice was good but spa charge was excessive to use a pool and sauna .
