Spacious resort. Nice heated pool with a beautiful view. Staff was friendly and attentive. We were in town for our family’s Marine graduation. This resort offered shuttling to MCRD, and also the airport and cruise drop off. There seemed to be a lack of communication between the hotel and the drivers. Be absolutely sure you book the shuttle a day in advance. I did and they still weren’t able to do airport pick up. Not a good start as the only other option is uber/taxi. The bus system isn’t close. If you don’t have a car you will be stuck to the walkable parts. Old Town is beautiful and very walkable and safe however. Lots of nearby shops and Mexican restaurants!

Rooms were clean. Staff very helpful and accommodating. They had a lot going on with MCRD graduation and they handled it all wonderfully. Some updating is needed but the atmosphere and over all cleanliness was wonderful.

The check-in process was quick and easy. They thoroughly explained how to get to my room and they were very friendly. The property is beautiful, and perfectly located, and the room was clean and very cute.

The hotel itself is beautiful. The location can't be beat! But, the walls are so thin. We didn't sleep well at all because the upstairs neighbors were walking around and we could hear everything. Our next door neighbors television; they were watching family feud. Breakfast was good but when we arrived almost everything was out. We arrived an hour before the set end time. Definitely did not work for us, but I can see the appeal of staying there.

The room was in good condition and the staff was very helpful in locating a better room with easier access for my elderly parents. The heater made a lot of noise and the key card for the door needed to be reprogrammed a few times, but free parking and breakfast made up for the inconvenience so I called it wash.
