The staff was great. The property itself is extremely dated, and it appears that the hotel management has not invested in the infrastructure. The rooms are not updated. There was no ceiling fan, and there was no additional security lock on the front door. The pool was dirty, and the water was very merky. The hot tub was not working properly. The machine that makes the bubbles was not working. I personally would never stay again at this property.

Front desk person when we arrived was great, however, the lady working in the morning was rude and honestly weird. The room was nice, however, the workers thought it was okay to make insane amount of noise @ 7am and then give me an attitude when asking for them to stop.

The Hacienda Inn was definitely disappointing. It is beautiful from the outside, but our room was aged. The bathroom door didn't close and 1 of the 2 tvs didn't work. We went to the lobby multiple times to ask about getting it fixed. It was not done. Most of the front desk staff were very friendly, but there was no follow through. The maid came and cleaned our room each day, but never left coffee replacement. So I found myself back in the lobby getting it from the front desk. This is minor, but just 1 more thing. They offer a breakfast you can pay for (which was good) but there is no access to juices or milks for purchase. We walked a half mile to the Arco to get juice and milk for the mornings when we did not want breakfast. They offer a shuttle to and from the airport and the beds are comfortable. This is the only reason I give it 3 stars. We have stayed in Old Town many times and this was the most disappointing hotel we have visited. I appreciate the small discount they offered when I went down to speak with someone before our checkout, but considering the amount we paid to stay here, it was very small. As stated, it is a beautiful hotel, but it needs some work both inside the rooms and in staff follow through, to get to a 5 star status.

Beautiful hotel, great location

My family of 5 had a great stay at this hotel. Room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was a little outdated but was clean. Loved the location so close to downtown! They have a little gate we were able to go through that took us right to the main street. Would absolutely stay here again.

The room itself was spacious and clean. The property was located right in the middle of Old Town. Very central to all activities here. I had a poolview room and the pool was not clean at all. I let the front desk staff know that the water was Green and Murky. Apart from the pool, I would recommend the property, but for a hotel with a pool they really should get right on cleaning it. If I were a duck I wouldn't land in it for a layover......

The shower fixtures were very loose, almost falling off. My room was a 2-Queen Beds, plus pull out sofa. The sofa was HORRIBLE. It was very old, I can feel the mattress coils all over my back, was afraid the mattress was going to rip through. Not a good night sleep at all.

I love coming to this hotel, we come 2 or 3 times per year, and it has always been 5 stars to me. But this time I have a complain about room service, First day was fine, next day, was not.. beds were all sloppy, room was without towels, looked like they just stretch the bed linens and left messy pillows. The outside of the hotel looked that it needed maintenance floors to be washed. (the hallway floors) The elevator was very dirty. No complementary water inside the room. They charged me $25 for parking space, and it is a very small parking area for such a large hotel. So most of the cars were parked outside.
