A Sweet Memory

It was a one night trip, pleasant and comfortable. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. San Diego Old Town Best Western Plus is always quiet, clean, cozy and beautiful.

Stayed at this hotel some years ago. This time the room was pretty rough. Room was severely muggy and the floor by the ac was wet. They placed a can of Mold Control in one of the shelves. Don’t see myself staying at this hotel again..

The hotel is located in the heart of oldtown a walking distance to restaurants, bars and stores. The hotel itself is quite dated but well kept, the only caveat that we found was that its quite noisy so dont expect a great night sleep. We liked that it included airport shuttle and considered it a plus.

The location. In Old Town is excellent and all the staff members are so pleasant and accommodating especially Jeff the shuttle driver. The room was very large and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

Expensive for what you get. It’s not a bad place to stay but overpriced for what you get. Good for walking right down to Old Town SD with shops and restaurants. The staff was helpful when having trouble with the door and sent someone right away to check on it. Needed to replace the handle as it took several times to open it. Location was good as it was close to places we wanted to see and visit.

Great location

Great stay for a date night in Old Town until the morning when a staff member pounded on our door just to ask if our water was working. Not sure exactly what time it was because we were sleeping but it was way before 8am when we were planning to wake up.

The exterior is charming and location is fantastic. Right next to heritage park and a block away from classic Mexican dining options and shopping. The room was VERY outdated. The bathtub looked like it was from the 70s or 80s. My room was also noisy.

Old building but lovely area

It’s an old building which comes with sound infiltrating walls and ceilings. So much noise throughout the night from neighbors… and the airport and nearby trains. The bathroom doors are pocket doors and one was pretty broken. Otherwise the pool was wonderful and the view was great. The neighborhood was quaint and the location was great.

Grandson’s NCAA GAME at The Golden Gymnasium.

The hotel was a great place to stay. It is located right in the heart of Old Town San Diego. So much to see and do right across the street! The restaurant on site, Old Town Tequila Factory, is a must to go dine. The food was excellent! I had the Baja fish taco plate. The margaritas are on point. I got the Fiesta Verde, soooo good, I got two! Why not, my room was just a tiny walk away. Every thing was very reasonable. Overall everything from the staff (including at the restaurant was excellent). If ever I’m in that area again this hotel will be my first choice.
