The tub had a backflow of sewage. We were offered another room, and it was satisfactory for the rest of our stay. In the morning, there was rarely someone at the front desk. The breakfast choices were good, however it is a small area.

The Room was in good condition, neat and clean. The staff was also friendly. Really liked the full breakfast that was provided, a good variety of breakfast items. The main problems was that WiFi was not working the whole time we were there. This was a problem since I had to work on Friday. And the second issue was that the AC was not working ( needed with the sun shining into our room )

Staff were great, but we weren't advised until we arrived that there would be no power fron 9pm to 7am. I realize this is not the hotels fault, but if we had been advised as soon as they knew (and one staff member said she found out that morning when she started her shift), we would have made alternate arrangements. There was no wifi after 9pm for the duration of our stay- unacceptable in 2025. We were unable to confirm flights, book an Uber etc, so had to pay additional fees for roaming.

Everything was great: good breakfast, friendly staff including kitchen staff, nice bed and small but fully adequate fitness room. I would, however, recommend that the old carpeting be replaced. It bothered my allergies a bit.

Card key didn't work upon check in. Front desk blaming my wife for the error. Maintenance had to come several times and fix the issue. Heater did not work. Maintenance said that the heater was broken. When my wife asked the desk clerk where the bathroom in the lobby was located, she went to the bathroom but it required a door code, so she went back to the front desk to ask the same clerk why didn't you give me the code and his reply was that you didn't ask. Rude clerk . 3 issues that should have never should happen especially when we use this hotel several times a year agent.

Very nice room. Excellent staff who gave us a late checkout for our Marine graduation. No shuttle to MCRD but Uber and Lyft worked great. Breakfast was incredible and free. It satisfied all of our picky eaters. Location was perfect with the ocean so close.

We were very surprised at how much we enjoyed the Best Western. The hot buffet breakfast was great including eggs, bacon, French toast, pancakes etc. parking was free. The hotel was easy to find, close to the airport and across from the harbor. To top it off our room had a balcony and the employees were friendly. We recommend and will stay again if the price continues to be affordable.

I think I may have lost count now how many times I have stayed here. I just like it all around. Room was spotless and well maintained. The staff was great for check-in & check out. The cleaning team was amazing. I didn't catch her name, but one of the ladies was just lovely and was nice to everyone passing by in the hallway. It just gave everything a different vibe. I look forward to coming back soon.
