The property was nice, staff friendly. But I booked a king size and Expedia overbooked so when I got to the hotel they only had a room with two queens. I’m 6’7 and they still weren’t able to accommodate me. So I couldn’t really sleep well in the smaller bed. I understand it’s not the hotels fault but Expedia needs to look into availability so this doesn’t happen to other people.

The property was very clean and well kept, parking was very limited though. The biggest issue was the noise, from the start we knew we’d hear the cars from the freeway which wasn’t our issue. Our issue was how much you could hear the neighbors next door, it was like any little sound went right into our room. The workout room is smaller than our room, and the dining options were limited to one small cafe downstairs, no room service apparently. Overall the hotel was clean and had great bedding.

Our toilet was not flushing & running constantly so we let the front desk know. Maintenance came & when we returned only one flush & again not work….middle of the the night I had to put my hand in the tank to flush it, gross for sure. We were compensated with points at Marriott for a future 1 night stay however We do feel we should be compensated by Expedia as well

Great hotel, great location

Great location - walking distance to Old Town restaurants and 10 -20 minutes to most places in San Diego. Room was comfy and the staff was super helpful. Only downside is parking - they have a few small lots. We always found a spot, but its harder at night.

Family get away.

The area of the hotel was a very nice area, very safe area, and the staff was very friendly. However, our experience with the hotel itself was not so good. It was a older hotel, not so modern. In the room we had experienced the tub filling up with water when you shower and the sink filling up when you turn the sink on to brush your teeth or wash your hands. The door leading into the bathroom,The handle was loose and shaky. We could hear people entering and exiting the main hallway door all throughout the night, since our room was right at the entryway. The heater made extremely loud noise throughout the night. It was a very unpleasant room stay.
