The room given to us during check in was taken and there were no other room left that were non-smoking. Asked for a refund and had to scramble to find another hotel. The location seems to be a homeless and drug area.

Filthy, Unsafe, and Not Worth the Money

Our experience at the E-Z 8 Motel was beyond disappointing. As soon as we arrived, we were alarmed by the number of homeless individuals and people openly using drugs around the property. It immediately felt unsafe and unwelcoming. We were told our room had been “upgraded,” but it was in terrible condition. The walls were chipped and stained, with actual boogers smeared on them. A clothes hanger was barely attached to the wall, the lamp was broken and rusted, and the interior side of the door was filthy. The bathroom was just as bad — the sink was falling apart, the exhaust fan was dangling from the ceiling, and the smoke detector kept beeping, likely due to a low battery — a serious safety concern. The overall state of the room and property was unacceptable. We chose to cut our losses and left to book a room at a reputable hotel instead. If you value cleanliness, safety, or basic comfort, avoid this place at all costs

you can see people hanging out at the lobby/ the surrounding neighborhood also full with transient folks. The place was pretty clean/ well maintained. Busy place/ not enough courtesy one on one with each costumer. The atmosphere is too relaxed and chill like kicking back at the front porch with friends and people go in and out of the house constantly.

The front desk associate was great, and allowed us to check in early. The biggest issue is the lack of security and homeless people everywhere on the property. There was a man passed out right outside the pool for hours to where I began to be concerned if he was alive. I felt pretty unsafe here. Parking was horribly narrow. Room was clean, beds were not bad.

The property was not perfect, but it was enough to get by. You have to pay extra for wifi, but I didn't really have to utilize it while there. Besides Old Town, you have a large variety of stores like Target within walking distance. However, it's important to be cautious of your surroundings especially at night. I saw a lot of unpleasant things and suspicious people close by, but I kept my distance. Be safe and plan ahead.

The stay worked for what we needed it for. When I entered the room, I noticed that there was a drawer missing from the drawers. I also noticed that there were a slight damage to the wall in the room. There were only two towels available one of the beds mattress sunken as soon as you lie down, making it uncomfortable. The staff service was average at best. They didn’t do anything wrong, but they also didn’t really feel that they belong there.

Staff was nice . But rooms didnt have microwave, No lock on inside of room for safty since there is lots of homeless and drug issue people all around . No trash bags for trash , No chair to sit at Desk area and Bad Tv that was fussy picture and would freeze as well. Plus the loud sound of the train passing .the parking lot in tight , no large vehicles. I saw a mini Van struggling and hit the wall by the pool .
