    Guests should be aware that the home is directly located below the San Diego airport flight path. The owner did install high quality double pane windows, but the sound was noticeable from 6:30 am to 11:00 pm.The skillets and pots have seen a lot of use and should probably be replaced.The home was very clean.

    Excellent property in great location!

    What a wonderful place to stay. The home is in a wonderful community and accessible to everything we needed. The only issue was the fact that we were unaware that the host was living on the property. Even though the owner stated that it was in the description of the property, it was not. I read everything in the description and not one mention of this. The host might be confusing this listing on VRBO with another site he is probably listing on. Either way, it wasn’t really a problem, but it would have been nice and important to know, especially since we were traveling with children. Oh, and one more thing, the host should remove “Hot Tub” as an amenity. There is no hot tub on site. There are spa tubs in the bathrooms, which was also listed, but not the hot tub everyone is looking for when they use that as a search parameter. Other than these things, it was truly a great place to stay.

    Great stay and close to the event we were attending at MCRD.

    Such a great location and good neighborhood! Awesome experience. Would definitely recommend for events at MCRD. It is right up the road and easy to get to. Robert was a great host!

    Lovely time in San Diego

    We all loved this house! It is not too big, but very comfortable. Each of 3 bedrooms has its own bathroom, allowing an extra privacy. The house is very clean and has everything you need. Beautiful view from the back deck was a plus! Additionally, the location is great, in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with quick and easy access to everything. The host is very responsive and nice. We highly recommend this house and would love to stay here again. Thank you, Robert!

    Beautiful house but poor management

    We are 3 retired professionals who stayed at this location in San Diego. We really liked the house and all its amenities but had a difficult time getting back our security deposit. First of all the security deposit was very large and they took it out of my Credit Card immediately when I booked more than a month ahead of when we actually checked in. The day we left I received a message from the host that there was no damage and Vrbo should release my money in the next 5 days. I waited 6 days but still no refund. I had to call Vrbo twice and text the host to get my deposit returned to my credit card. I will never stay at a Vrbo location where a large security deposit is required.

    Nice home

    We had a great stay. Did not get any check in or check out instructions. House was roomy and comfortable. Kitchen well laid out. Beds comfortable. Ice maker not working. Well stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex, body wash, shampoo. Dish soap. Water bottles provided-very nice. Tub in master was flaking, kitchen faucet loose.

    Graduation Stay

    This was a perfect home for us during our stay to attend our son's Marine Corp graduation. I we ever returned to the area we would stay here again.
