The rooms and everything where fairly nice and freshly renovated, the hotel was under construction still which was okay. But the biggest down fall was the street rooms we had where very very loud because of the train crossing would ding every 10mnts and the train would honk a very loud horn

We arrived to a hotel that was under construction and looked abandoned and neglected inside due to all the work going on! At night we could hear every noise and alarm from the next door room as well as all the outside noises from the train, planes, fire engines right next door, and boats in the bay. Definitely not an ideal stay, but staff was very nice. Continental breakfast was also boxes of cereal and make it yourself waffles.

The construction in the room next to us was kind of loud, also when the cieling was leaking and left the floor soaking wet it was annoying. Luckily the hotel was in a great location, so when we had to evacuate we had plenty of options where to go.

The hotel is tired and undergoing renovations. The light and heavy rail tracks are directly behind the hotel, with old windows that aren't great at blocking train noise. Staff is helpful and working well with the facility they work in.

The rooms and the place was completely different than the pictures, very disappointing. It is going through renovations but they did not disclose this until I was already in the hotel. Elevators have just the foam and have graffiti all over, not what I expected for what I payed

We arrived early, before the official check-in time, and the front desk staff member, Aurora, was super nice and helpful. She kindly allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel so we could go out and explore, and she even provided us with coupons for nearby restaurants, which was a lovely bonus. When our room became ready, Aurora let us check in early, which made our first day in San Diego so much easier. She truly gave us a wonderful first impression of the hotel. The room itself was very spacious, bright, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was also great — the classic Hampton breakfast, exactly what you’d expect and enjoy. We will definitely come back and stay here again. Highly recommended!

I was traveling with my disabled sister and had reserved a room with an accessible shower because she is basically immobile. Upon arrival, I was told that the room I had reserved was no longer available because the people who had stayed in it the night before had extended their stay one more night. The hotel policy is that people who are already in a room have priority over those who have booked it. Consequently, there were no other accessible rooms available for three people so we stayed in one without an accessible shower. This is an unacceptable policy.
