This Hyatt is totally fine, but nothing special. Highlights: very heated pool, they give you pool chairs and umbrellas for the beach. Room for improvement: location isn’t great with really nothing around but a huge wework office building. We had some room cleaning issues (they stripped beds and never came back to put sheets on, so at night we were trying to get sheets. They had no housekeeping at night they said, so they handed us sheets and we had to make up the beds ourselves. They had also taken all our towels. I would have expected better service). Also parking is not cheap given it’s in the middle of nowhere, really. Overall a fine hotel but I wouldn’t stay here again for a family vacation.

Good variety of dining options and serving Starbucks coffee, also a little mart available at the lobby. Super clean facilities. Very convenient location to access the highway and visit the UCSD. Also close access to La Jolla Village and the trolley station. Parking options are expensive but you can try to park on the street at night.
