I recently had a disappointing experience at a hotel in San Diego. The room was overpriced, and the $15 nightly parking fee was excessive. To make matters worse, there were homeless people living in their cars in the same parking lot, which was unsettling. One of the cars even had broken windows, and it rained the entire time I was there. The breakfast was good except for the eggs. I thought it was kind of funny because the kids around me kept complaining about that. They were terrible. My room was nice and clean.

This was 2nd stay at this property. The entire staff is welcoming and cheerful. The rooms are clean and quiet. Parking is ample and the location is convenient to most of north county. Will likely stay again.

After reading some of the negative reviews I was a bit concerned. Now that we have stayed the 3 days 2 nights for a soccer tournament, I thought it was a pleasant stay. The room was clean. The staff was nice. We had to be at the park at 7am for check in so I was a bit disappointed that breakfast was from 7 to 9am on weekends. We missed the most important meal of the day. Its 6:30am on week days. Anyhow, we missed a breakfast. The next morning the food was perfect for the situation. The pool was small and in the shade but okay for the team. The Jacuzzis was good. They provided towels for the kids. They have restaurants walking distance next to property so that was convenient. I wanted two queen beds but they were sold out. The couch bed seemed okay for the kids. We would stay there again.

Didn’t eat breakfast there. This was an overnight stay. Just before we turned in, a strange smell came from the HVAC. I’ve never experienced that before in any hotel. We immediately turned the air off and opened the window a little. I let the front desk know on our way out - just didn’t feel like reporting it last night - we were just too tired to switch rooms, etc., etc.
