Large loft area with two twins and a queen bed.

Outdoor areas:
Enjoy outdoor areas on every level.
On ground floor, enclosed front patio is private (not shared) with gorgeous ocean views.
Enjoy pretty garden, teak dining table, umbrella and BBQ.
On the second floor off main living area, the “coffee porch” is a favorite spot for our guests to gather.
On third floor, roof deck has stunning 360 degree views of beach, bay, and Belmont Park.

Heating & Cooling:
Please be aware there is NO Air conditioning in the home.
There are plenty of ceiling fans and standing fans.
There is central heat in the unit during cooler months

For our younger guests:

Other things to note
Need more room? If your group is larger than 10, inquire about “The Dollhouse,” the two bedroom guest apartment above the garage. This charming space, originally built in the 1930’s can sleep an additional 4-5 guests.

Perfect Place for a Family Vacation

We stayed at the Whalen house for our escape from the Montana snow. The house was perfect for our family of five and we had room to spare. It was less than a minute from the beach and there were plenty of beach chairs, towels, and toys. The roof top patio was a great bonus and a nice way to finish the day. You won't be disappointed if you choose this house for your stay in Mission Beach.

Sibling getaway

We had a wonderful week in Mission Beach and our house made it that much more special! The house was plenty spacious for my family and my sisters family, and there was everything we could have ever needed from a pack n play, beach toys, beach chairs, laundry, etc. My sister agreed that we would definitely come back again!

Perfect Place!

Our family had the best time here! It is conveniently located only a one minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to Belmont Park. All of the necessities were already there which was wonderful! The place is very clean and communication was great with property management. It’s the perfect place to stay for a large family or group!

Best House on Mission Beach!

Our family of 8, 4 kids and parents had an absolute blast at this house. It was clean, and so well stocked. Proximity to the beach was amazing and just a short walk to restaurants, bakery and fun. I highly recommend this house loved the set up of rooms, BBQ on the patio and the roof deck for sun sets. 10/10 stop looking and BOOK!

Great Beach House!

Very close access to the beach and good area. They had tons of toys, chairs, and boogie boards. Owners were very responsive and gave good food recommendations. We loved hanging out on the roof hammock and front patio. We were also close to many San Diego sights (La Jolla, Sea World, Old Town). Would highly recommend!

Wonderful Vacation Home

We loved everything about our stay! The location was perfect. It was steps from the beach and a very short walk to restaurants, markets, cafes, etc. The house itself was clean and had so many nice indoor and outdoor spaces. We had 8 adults and felt like we had plenty of room. The communication with the management was very prompt and they were able to get us in early and give us a late check out. I know that's not always possible but it's so nice when that can happen. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely no complaints about this property. There was 6 of us, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The house is well stocked with plenty of extra beach towels, towels, and blankets. If you have younger kids, there are gates on the stairs to keep them safe. Close to everything. Highly recommend!

Pros: great communication with hosts, well stocked, great location, good for kids, 2 parking spots, laundry Cons: could definitely use a deep clean (a LOT of dust under beds and behind furniture, cobwebs on ceiling- more common areas were well cleaned). No AC, but they did have tons of fans (these were also super dusty and probably never cleaned).

Annual Family Vacation

The home fit all our needs and wants, with plenty of room for 6 adults and 3 kids. We never felt like we were on top of each other with the three levels and multable decks and patios. It's in a beautiful locations just steps from the beach and board walk, yet quiet even during Spring break! The home is well appointed and very comfortable. The two parking spots were a plus seeing how parking is an issue. The garage is tight, but we managed. It was wonderful to have a washer and dryer. I might suggest that the laundry detergent be unscented though, as some in our group were sensitive to scent. We had a wonderful time and the property truely does live up to it's 5 star ratings.

Me and my family loved this house you literally need nothing but food and your clothes. Kimberly the property mgr is outstanding and checked how everything was. Nancy. I would like to know where did ypu buy the sweater like blankets. We loved them. They were so warm. We especially liked all the decks. The one outside the living room is great to just sit and have coffee. The main deck was great just to watch the sunset. I definitely would stay here again. Outstanding 5 stars for everything Thank you for sharing your home with us. And thank you Kimberly for everything q

Wonderful Experience

The house at Kennebeck Court was the perfect house for our family stay in San Diego. It was ideally located within steps of the ocean and the bay. The owner was very accomodating and the house was in immaculate condition. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
