I like this hotel, it's nice, kind of unique and I felt like in old times. Only thing I didn't like is that there wasn't any view from my window (just an other room's window)

The Beau was a nice experience to stay at and had a lot of history behind the property itself. Located on 6th Ave, this gives so many choices of the Gaslamp District to explore as so much is within about a mile radius. My only complaint is parking. $31 dollars per day (or $41 per day pass) was a bit much but they do offer parking validation with the QR code. My first night parking was free, issues with rental so I had to get another vehicle. Unsure if the validation is good for your whole stay on one vehicle or not but overall great place to stay if you’re interested in activities downtown!

Best service and employees I've ever met

My stay was just a one night stay for me and my 21 year old daughter to just relax together...my uncle came to drop me off tampons and the grave yard front desk worker was so kind as to follow behind him up the stairs to make sure he did not fall because of his broken shoe ,and his hip injury. Which u could clearly tell was bothering him then and making it hard for him to walk . Then we have the lady who came in on the next shift to. Work the front desk who was equally amazing ..my daughter and I were out and about all night at the bars and clubs so come morning we were exhausted ! So exhausted me and my daughter fell back asleep after I went down the first time and asked for a late check out for noon. So to fall asleep and wake up to the maids at ten till 1pm was embarrassing and stressful because nothing was packed completely or ready to move out. I told her what had happened and she completely understood and told me don't worry about it and gave us another 30 min to finish. Once finished we went down stairs to check out but we did not have our ride set to bring us home yet. So the two men now working were so kind as to take out luggage back upstairs and store it for us until we were ready to leave...well let me tell u that turned out to be 3 days later because I was injured like an hour later and had to go to the hospital and have surgery on my leg...when my daughter finally made it back there to get our stuff everything was there and they weren't mad or rude at all...

The room was clean and comfortable. Be aware that the building does not have an elevator, though they do have staff available to help with luggage — and I truly felt bad for them having to carry everything up and down the stairs. Also, note that the luggage storage room doesn’t have a surveillance camera, and they don’t verify IDs when guests pick up their suitcases. I stayed for just one night.
