This property is as it states, a boutique hotel. 3 floors. No elevator and no central AC but we managed and the staff bring the luggage up and down the stairs. Quaint small room with not much in it but the location and price was great for 1 night. There were restaurants within close walking distance. Don’t see many shops.

I did not stay at the property and would like my money returned. The hotel has no elevator but they do take your luggage up the many stairs. Room 221 smelled of vomit, no chair in the room. No phone in the room. The ac is a standup unit so loud they give you ear plus. I went to the front desk to be moved. They gave me the key to room 204. After opening 294 there was a man undressed which embarrassed both of us. I then went to the front desk and advised I was leaving and wanted a refund. They were kind enough to assist me in booking The Wyndham and calling a taxi. Again, I did not stay at The Beau Hotel and would like a refund.

The property was beautiful and the staff was amazing. It is rather loud in the night, but I was expecting that. It was close enough to walk to Gaslamp Quarter, Seaport Village, and Little Italy. Bus stop was a block away. The restaurant on site was amazing as well.

The Beau Hotel did not disappoint! We loved its historical charm and character. Their staff is kind, accommodating, friendly, and very helpful. Being in the downtown area was a little noisy at night on the weekend, but we did not have any issues sleeping…and it’s Downtown San Diego so our expectations were for it to be busy. There are homeless people in the area, but we never had any problems. The hotel is very clean, and got to know several of the staff by name. I would highly recommend staying there.
