The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. The bed linens were a bit old/raggedy but that’s to be expected with an older hotel. All the staff I interacted with were pleasant. My only complaint is a long break the shuttle takes in the middle of the day which was inconvenient.

This is now my go-to when staying in the SFO area. Clean, comfortable, great for sleeping (cold, quiet, and dark), the bay views are great, breakfast is amazing, and the front staff are exceptional. Stay away from the insanity of the city and really enjoy the stay here!

First stepped into the room, Wow on the spacious room but all pillows & pillow covers had very odd scent ( human body odd) like never washed also the room self has slightly cigarette sent like the room was a smoking room. an extra, that window had a full if spiderwebs, bugs & dust. so these made me disappointed. Was delayed due to snowstorm Fern. Was looking for an inexpensive hotel by SFO; and chose Bay Landing because of the reviews. I was very pleased with my choice. As others have noted the rooms are not super modern, but my room was clean, spacious and had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. It was all I needed for my 2 night stay. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful, and the breakfast has a good selection to chose from. I was definitely impressed and if I ever need a hotel near SFO again, I would return without hesitation
