Everything and everyone was very nice EXCEPT FOR THE FRONT DESK STAFF ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. They seemed to act as if they were being bothered.

Fair for a one night stay

Hotel staff at reception was very courteous. The hotel needs updating. Rooms and lobby look old. Lighting in the room was very dim and at least 2 lamps were not working (bulbs)

Enjoyed my week-long stay. Service was decent. The place is a bit dated, but it’s well-maintained. Breakfast was great. The pool remained closed. It's easy to get to the highway, airport, and the Bay Area (including SFO).

First disappointing experience with hotels.com

The stay overall was uneventful as expected. Hotel is nice although descriptions of bay view vs non-bay view is confusing. The larger issue was that somewhere between booking the hotel room(s) on hotels.com and arriving for check-in some of the rooms were cancelled (according to the hotel staff). I never received any communication of cancellation. Even though the hotel staff said 2 room reservations were cancelled shortly after the booking (~hour). Hotels.com app still showed I had rooms and continued receive emails and notices. The hotel staff was able to resolve the room issue but had to take time/work to get desired rooms. (Was travelling with a large family group and chose specific options/rooms when booking) Was not a good experience after a long travel day. This has been my first disappointing experience with hotels.com

Great areas to walk by the hotel, and the checkin staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. Managed to hire a local e-bike and do the trail and go into the local downtown area which was really great vibe. Continental breakfast was not great would be my only area for improvement.
