The sand fleas was terrible. Our bed got infected. Went to the beach for a walk. Never even enjoyed the beach. One walk thru to look and we think that’s where we got fleas. No signs for warning by the beach. Just in our room on the bathroom counter. The the breakfast restaurant was EXTREMELY expensive. The restaurant are open to limited hours. You can get food when ever you want. Only on there small minimum hours. Then you have to pay for parking at a high rate. It’s a lot of walking. Very spread out. And after paying you guys for the trip. The hotel charges me an additional 989. I didn’t expect that. Will never go back

Stunning resort for wonderful vacation (with note)

Overall we had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt, the property and location were stunningly beautiful, the pool was amazing (my kids wanted to stay in the pool all day!), everything was well-run and spotless), and we would consider returning for another family vacation. The only note I would make to others planning a trip to this resort, especially families, is about food... We booked a villa which was marketed as having a kitchen but we arrived to find that the only items in the kitchen were a mini fridge, microwave, and cabinets/drawers which were all completely empty. For comparison - we had a recent trip to a Hilton property in St. Maarten where we had a 2-room suite which had a kitchen with oven, stove, toaster, fridge, microwave, full set of dishes, a few pots and pans, and a knife and cutting board, so that we could prepare some meals in our room, so this is is what I was expecting. At the Hyatt the kitchen was essentially useless and this compounded food difficulty since there were only a few restaurants (and one coffee shop that inexplicably did not open as scheduled one day) on the property and limited stock at the market, and the restaurants were all always booked (it was school vacation week so it was very busy), and of course the food was expensive. The property is at the end of a beautiful peninsula, not nearby to any food options. If we return to this resort then I would have to plan differently for food in the future. Otherwise, a wonderful experience.

Not all inclusive. Too expensive. Found a roach in our room. Why is tip already added to my bill. Food truck food was not good. Other than that the property was beautiful with a great location by the beach.
