The location of this hotel and the staff are amazing. All the workers were incredibly polite and the hotel is located in the middle of the rainforest, allowing for some amazing views. That being said, the rainforest comes with a lot of bugs and reptiles, who seem to prefer the inside of the resort rather than the outdoors. We found lizards, a dead frog, a wasp and multiple other bugs in our room. And the rooms have a lot of openings that allow them to enter.
Some of the rooms are also in desperate need for a renovation. Our original room was an older one - we found a lizard under our pillow and discovered the AC wasn't working on the first night. They switched our room, but when i called the next morning to ask about the floating bkfast we ordered, i was told we had to move back. I was pretty frustrated at that point and thankfully, they called us back to let us know we could stay in the room.
Overall, it was a good stay but many of the highlights were overshadowed by the things i mentioned above.
