Staff was very nice. The grounds and patio furniture had a lot of bird droppings. The rooms were clean but because the carpeting appeared to have a lot of wear and tear it did not give the appearance of clean. Also, the toilet seat was stained which added to the appearance of it not being totally clean. They had a lot of activities and continental breakfast.

The issue was the hotel gave us an upgraded room at $75/night, but didn’t let us know that would be so near the construction site of their future spa. The trucks woke us up very early every morning. We’ve stayed here twice before and love this place, but honestly a $75 upgrade is crazy. They should’ve offered a $75/night discount for the noisy construction going on.

I did a ton of research before booking our stay at The Arabella Sedona, as this was for our elopement and we wanted everything to be special. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Do not let the photos and reviews fool you this is essentially an old, run-down motel with terrible service and outdated, smelly rooms. We arrived a little later than check-in after driving from Scottsdale, only to be told that the premium Mountain View room we had booked wasn’t available. Instead, they put us in an extremely dated, musty room on the ground floor with stained carpet and no view. It was heartbreaking, especially since this was our wedding night and we had been so excited to relax in a nice hotel. We immediately contacted Expedia to try to cancel and move hotels, but there was no manager on site (even though it was only just after 5 PM), so we were forced to stay the night. The staff eventually moved us to a slightly renovated room, still on the main floor and without a view, but at least it smelled better. We checked out the next morning and the manager did refund the remaining nights, but we still ended up paying $450 for one night in a room that should have cost maybe half that. I tried to get a larger refund, but Expedia was unable to help. Overall, I would never recommend staying here unless you’re okay with an overpriced, old motel that may not even honor the room you booked. Our experience was extremely disappointing.

Love the quaint southwestern deco rooms. Showers have great water pressure, but tubs are narrow at the bottom so it's hard to maneuver while scrubbing. Beds are pretty stiff so be warned. I liked the firmness but my gf hated them. Overall would stay again!

The amenities and on site trail are excellent as well as the convenience of walking distance to The Hudson for good food and shopping! Few bad things: if you’re in the downstairs rooms in the Trailhead rooms expect to hear EVERY footstep of the people in the room above. Also, the spa was closed the last two days so I feel like I shouldn’t have to pay the full resort fee. But overall, I would come back.

Nice base location for excursions away from the crowded parts of Sedona. Great complimentary breakfast. Clean rooms. Safe. Easy parking. Beds okay but could be better but I am used to a premium bed so most probably would say they are fine. Staff could be a little more friendly especially front desk attendant who was borderline rude.

All the staff members were AWESOME — super nice, helpful, accomodating and attentive. It made the stay 5 stars. Due to an error with Hotels.com we wound up with a ground floor court yard room. As such, we needed to keep the drapes closed as many people walked past on their way to the gazebo. It wasn’t the hotness faulr and we were grateful they even had a room. The Arabella provides unusual amenities such as star gazing with a very professional telescope… I got to see Saturn and its rings! There was music at the gazebo around the fire pits.. a lovely way to meet other guests, people from all over the US and even other countries! There were other amenities as well… the Mole restaurant is excellent! It was a most enjoyable stay.

The clerk who checked us in seemed bothered by the questions we asked about the room. We were on the 2nd floor, and there was no elevator; and we were expected to carry our own bags up the stairs. Eventually, someone carried them up the stairs for us. The concierge was very helpful in recommending restaurants. The TV had poor sound and picture. Housekeeping was good.
