This is an oasis that is within 5 - 7 min walking distance of the busy and fun area of Selcuk. Location was great, the rooms and garden pool area were lovely, and the staff were very accommodating! We highly recommend it.

This hotel is a very quaint and romantic hotel, in a very old and well preserved home. They have a small swimming pool and deck, where one can sip their tea/coffee with their lovely homemade cakes and relax with the sunset. Very good service and helpful staff. Serves some delicious breakfast.

Most gracious and hospitable hosts I have come across throughout our trip in Turkey! Our journey to Selcuk was very long and our host kindly gave us an early check in which we really appreciate! The rooms are tastefully decorated, the breakfast sumptuous, and the hotel itself is like a quiet piece of paradise furnished with care and love. Special thanks to the two gentlemen hosts, the kitchen ladies and Alp for their warmth and generosity in making our trip so memorable!

Our stay at Akanthus was marvellous from the beginning to the end. We felt very much at home. The two owners were very friendly and helpful. Their suggestions on restaurants and sightseeing really gave an extra authentic experience to our visit. The hotel itself was exceptionally designed and very well thought out. Our room was the best in the whole hotel. If you are planning on going to Selçuk you MUST stay there, if not you are missing out on a wonderful hotel.

There are not enough words to describe how fabulous this hotel is. It will be the hotel that all our other stays are measured by. Fabulously friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast and free coffee, tea and cake available at any hour. The pool area is beautiful. Clean and fragrant with the most amazing amount of jasmine blooming. Great room, well appointed and comfortable. These lovely owners have not put a foot wrong in designing and building and maintaining this hotel.

A lovely hotel in a quiet location with some lovely views from the front rooms over looking the old town and temple of Artemis. Parking is on the street nearby but these are very quiet and there are plenty of spaces. The hotel its self can be difficult to find as tucked away down a side street. Easy walking to local sites restaurants and a few small shops. Staff very welcoming and helpful.
