Poor Customer Service

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience here was extremely disappointing. I booked six rooms well in advanced . I even confirmed this during a pre-arrival call, yet upon arrival, the staff didn’t seem to have prepared for this request. I was told that the rooms were ready, but they were trying to shuffle them around due to the disability request, which should have been sorted long before we arrived. We checked in around 2:30 PM, and though they allowed us to check into two rooms early, the rest of the rooms weren’t ready until 5:30 PM. When I asked for an update, the front desk staff was rude and dismissive, saying the supervisor was “handling it,” but refused to provide any real information. After waiting for hours, I overheard staff discussing how to adjust the room assignments because they hadn't been properly organized. Eventually, another supervisor overheard and stepped in to resolve things, but by then, the damage had been done. A lack of communication, empathy, and professionalism made this a very frustrating experience, especially after international travel. I hope the hotel reviews its training and processes to avoid this happening again.

Overall resort is nice and safe. The girl that checked us in wasn’t that pleasant. Rooms huge and accommodating with everything you need but a an odors once the ac was off. Overall stay was nice. Staff at the resort was always greeting you.

If all you are interested in is having a very good hotel room and a beach this is good value otherwise stay elsewhere. We did the breakfast package and although it was inconsistent, it was consistently bad. How it works is that it us all made to order (not a buffet) and they give the people with the package lower quality options and lower quality food than people paying a la carte. The service was also painfully slow (sometimes close to an hour) so we had to plan our mornings around being disappointed. It that's what the full all inclusive is like then I'm very happy happy that I didn't get it. The room on the other hand was fantastic. Large, spacious, fully functional kitchen but the staff didn't clean it once over the course of a week. Not once. This resorts was in my any ways you get what you pay for except the room was way more and the service was way less. I would like to recognize Devon vfron the wait staff. He made a poor situation much more tolerable through attentive food custoner service.

We stayed at an Ocean View studio and the room was beautiful, updated, and spacious. The beach is nice though not the best of Simpson Bay. Very convenient and good location. Close to many restaurants and local shops. We will likely be back.
