This precious gem of a cottage is nestled in the famous Mirador de Ses Barques only 15-20 minutes away from Soller and the beach. Be prepared to fall in love with the beautiful tapestry of the Serra of Tramuntana contrasting with the deep and bright blue of the sea. ‘Miramar’ cottage means ‘look at the sea’ and this is the beauty of this charming holiday property – an idyllic spot for contemplation, silence and peace. The cottage is separate and private; with own parking area and access. ‘Miramar’ has been tastefully restored while retaining the charm and authenticity of a traditional rustic style Mallorcan cottage. This two level cottage comprises a hall area with a sofa bed, one double bedroom, one single bedroom, and a modern shower room. The top floor has a welcoming open space with dinning table and sofa, integrated kitchen and sitting area with a cosy fire place. Everything about this place is a dream. We enjoyed it enourmously and can't wait to go back! Sea views are amazing, even right out of the master bedroom window. Mind though, the property is right on the walking path,which was perfect for us, but people will pass in close proximity. It was a little unreasonably cold, but there's a great fireplace and plenty of heaters if you need nore warmth. We only used the one in the bedroom on a thermostat and the fan heater in the bathroom mornings and evening. We loved the fireplace which is in the cosy seating area adjescent to the kitchen, the same level as the terrace, which was perfect for us. Bottle of water and bottle of wine were very welcome arrival presents. Thank you, until next time!

Great location. Hiking trails close by. Beautiful views! Restored rustic house in olive grove. Real Mallorca experience. So beautiful. Road to house is challenging but parking at top is plentiful and only 5 minute walk. I drove it but wouldn’t do it at night and it’s probably best to walk it first.

Lovely Quiet rural cottage with spectacular views.

Lovely cottage where you can enjoy the beautiful view and sunsets from a big verandah. There are numerous places to sit outside all with lovely views. The interior is nicely presented and everything you require is there. The location is not near the town of Soller as shown on the map but instead a 15 drive up into the countryside so therefore not the 18 minute walk to the train station or restaurants as stated more like 2 hours! The road down to the cottage is rough with very tight turns however it is worth it for the peace and view. There are no shops nearby but the local restaurant is worth dining in. We had a lovely holiday in this cottage however the beds and shower mixer are badly in need of renewal and the grounds are likewise in need of attention.

We loved the Miramar Cottage. The property was full of wonderful character and the views from the balcony were spectacular. Watching the sun set over the mountains and Port Soller each day was a special event. The property was clean, very well stocked and comfortable. We appreciated the peace and tranquility in the olive grove with the friendly sheep. This property is a "one of a kind". The only problem we had was difficulty with the bumpy, twisty, narrow access road. We would recommend a compact SUV to access the property. It would also be useful if the owner would look to improving the road.

Great views

Fantastic views, idyllic hillside setting. Very rustic and authentic. Only issues were the stoney,twisty access which was difficult to drive over and lack of wifi.

Lovely house up in the hills

Great house with sublime views , surrounded by olive trees and wandering sheep , down end of a twisting dirt track . Need a car , not near any shops or services 15 minute drive to Port de Soller , or 15 minutes to town of Soller , house is very well equipped , we enjoyed our weeks stay in August

The highlight s are the views from a well equipped Varanda. Comfortable kitchen lounge area. The wood burner was essential especially on the days it rained. For cooler months it might be an idea to provide a heater in the bedrooms downstairs? We are already planning our return trip

Das Haus liegt nicht wie auf der „fewo-direkt-Seite“ direkt in Soler, sondern in den Bergen 20 Autominuten entfernt von der Stadt. Das bedeutet, dass die Entfernungsangaben im Inserat, z.B. zum Bahnhof, überhaupt nicht korrekt sind.Die Anfahrt zum Haus ist selbst mit einem Kleinwagen kritisch. Bei uns streifte immer leicht der Stoßfänger vorne. Die eine Spitzkehre konnten wir nur fahren, wenn wir vorher weiter unten gewendet haben. Ansonsten setzte das Auto auf (Anscheinend wurde hier schon mit Beton ausgebessert aber das war teilweise schon wieder abgebrochen).Die Küchenzeile ist klein. Die Schränke voll mir Geschirr und Besteck für gefühlt 40 Leute. Aber es ist kein Platz für die gekauften Lebensmittel.Der Kühlschrank „röchelt“ aber er kühlt. Das Frostfach im Kühlschrank ist klein und friert nicht richtig und ständig tropft Wasser vom Frostfach herab.Der Backofen ist ein Mini-Backofen, der auch schon bessere Zeiten gesehen hat.Bei den Tellern ist die Glasur teilweise abgenutzt.Nur in einem Schlafzimmer ist ein Kleiderschrank in dem anderen Schlafzimmer gibt es nur eine kleine Kommode.Es gibt natürlich auch etwas Positives: Der Ausblick auf Port de Soller ist herrlich und jeden Abend konnten wir einen fantastischen Sonnenuntergang sehen.

Sehr eigener aber idyllischer Ort. Bitte bringen sie Hinweisschilder an, denn wenn man kein Maps hat oder Maps nicht funktioniert, ist dieses Haus nicht zu finden. Die Zufahrt ist eine Zumutung und nur mit einem geeigneten Geländefahrzeug befahrbar. Das Haus selber ist sehr schön und liegt für Wanderwillige ideal.

Perfekt. Einzige Schwierigkeit : Die letzten 800 m zum Domizil sind ein steiler Schotterweg mit engen Kurven, nur für sehr geübte Autofahrer stressfrei zu meistern.

Very hard to reach the house by car. You have to go down hill with almost impossible corners. Walking is also hard. The beds are too short. No wifi When we arrived it was a puzzle how to get in. The view however is stunning. Thlocklock

Genial para un retiro.

La casa estaba un poco retirada de todo el ocio de Mallorca, nos dijeron que la playa estaba a 7 minutos andando, cuando realmente estaba a 20 en coche. No había verja de entrada, estaba todo abierto, por lo que el acceso a la casa es muy sencillo. La casa muy acogedora y con unas vistas a Soller preciosas. Pero hace falta coche para todo. No hay nada alrededor, solo vegetación.
