The breakfast was fair, but the morning staff didn't seem all that interested in keeping the food items properly supplied and they were not particularly friendly. The eggs were warm but not hot and scrambled was the only option. Lots of sweets, but it would be better to have more hot options and less sweets. Girls at the front desk were very helpful.

A lovely, no frills hotel in a central location

A lovely hotel with spacious rooms and a lovely rooftop bar and pool. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spotless. The a/c was good and the staff were pleasant. However, for the price it costs to stay in this hotel, there are no frills or extras provided - there is no fridge in the room, no tea or coffee making facilities, no iron/ironing board, the drinking glasses weren’t changed during our week long stay and toiletries aren’t replaced when finished. There is also only one socket in the room so bring an adapter with you for your chargers. Breakfast was ok, great if you like cakes and buns as lots of sweet things and it lacks tea pots so those who love a cuppa in the morning were up and down to the tea stand frequently refilling their little teacups. The location was great, only a few minutes walk to the main piazza and a five minute walk to the train station. A lovely hotel but with a little more effort it could be outstanding.

Worse 4 star property ever . Very rude staff & management. No water or Basu. Kettle provided in the room. When asked for a kettle was told to pay 15 euros for a kettle . When I asked for swim towels. Was told to go to the city center & buy some !!! This property should never be listed on Expedia . They are the worse 4 star I have ever been to. The front lady at the reception was very rude & dismissive .

The quality of the breakfast is good and different items is good. Very safe and entertainment was fun in the bar area. The front desk staff could be rude at times and not welcoming.

We like a lot this hotel art nouveau . Clean , good views mountain and ocean and the Vesuvius Everything is not far at all from the hotel like 5 min walks to the best shopping in Sorrento and good restaurants walking distance . Great breakfast in the hotel . We liked the roof top bar snack , pool.

This hotel was very nice and the location was amazing if you want to be close to the center of town. I took the train from Rome to Naples and then to Sorrento and I could walk less than 1/2 mile to the hotel. The back of the hotel has beautiful gardens and patios and a gated entrance that takes you 1 minute to the plaza center. You can also walk to the ferry’s easily to see Positano, Capri Almafi. The rooftop bar and pool were a plus and the morning breakfast was great. I was a single female traveler and felt safe everywhere. I highly recommend the water view with a balcony. It’s worth the price! The only negative is the Wifi outside of your hotel room and even on my balcony was difficult so I had to be inside to get anything done. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location. Very nice staff.. clean room.. but very old and uncomfortable bed.. the mattress and pillows were very old and worn old. Ask, we are on the second floor and it feels like we are sleeping beside the street.. we hear every car passing!

Hotel Grand Cesare Augusta is an amazing hotel with all the conveniences. The staff was always available and helpful. The breakfast was a feast! The room and bathroom facility was clean. I would definitely choose this hotel for our next visit

Lovely rooftop pool and bar, as well as convenient breakfast buffet. Room was clean and well kept. Great walkable location as well. My only critique would be the lack of “extra” things like shampoo, conditioner, tissues, etc but that is more of a minor detail. Overall I’d recommend!
