We checked in at this hotel, and overall, the experience was mixed. The location is perfect, situated in the center, close to both the bus and train stations, and easily accessible to the main attractions within walking distance. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly. The lobby of the hotel is nice and welcoming, but unfortunately, there is no water dispenser available for guests.
The room and the toilet are spacious, but they are quite old and in need of some renovation. It was difficult to regulate the water temperature while taking a shower. The AC was functional but didn't cool the room enough, and it still felt hot. The bed was uncomfortable, which made it hard to sleep.
Additionally, there were several things missing that we usually expect in a 4-star hotel. There was no bottle of water offered upon arrival or during our stay, no glass or disposable cup for brushing teeth, no kettle for hot water, no tea bags or instant coffee as a complimentary amenity, and no makeup tissues. We've traveled a lot and have stayed in many 4-star hotels, but this is the first time we encountered such issues. For me, this hotel feels more like a 2-3 star property.
