A beautiful property in the heart of the old Roman city. Staff were especially kind and helpful. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable with room clean daily. The breakfast was excellent and more than than ample to fill for the whole day. A truly wonderful experience for our 25th wedding anniversary trip.

Great hotel in a lovely cityu

The manager called as we were driving from the airport and talked to our driver to make sure that we were dropped off at the right place. He then walked us through the old town to where we were staying, explaining the history and how to find the other hotel building. Our room itself was excellent - good air conditioning, a very comfortable bed and a warm, powerful shower. The hotel breakfasts were anazing - a lovely platter of fruit and cheese and a wide menu to choose from. Thank you - a great stay in a lovely city.

There are not many, if any, places in the world where you can stay in a hotel, built into a Roman palace constructed in 305 AD. This is a UNESCO certified sight. This alone makes it a bucket list hotel. The staff were unbelievably friendly, welcoming, never said no to any requests. Eleven rooms total, so you are just a number here. You will be Treated liked royalty. They even have a licensed guide on staff that you can hire when he finishes his shift. His name is Tonchi, and he can give you the entire history of the area, the culture, the conquests of the area dating back to the time of Christ. He’s also the manager of food service, and the food is wonderful If you are looking for a regular sized, been there, done that hotel room, go to a Hilton. If you want to experience a piece of history, pack your bags.

Great location, beautiful room and exceptional customer service. We went to the wrong section of the hotel, so they organised to have our, rather heavy, bags taken to our room. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and sat outside in the beautiful courtyard. The food was delicious and our waiter, Moreno, was absolutely lovely and he had incredible knowledge of Croatia - which was fascinating to hear. Moreno also served us breakfast the next morning and his customer service is exceptional, other guests beside us also commented the same - he is definitely an asset to the hotel. He made us feel so welcome and our stay a memorable one.
The salmon for breakfast was outstanding.

A Seamless Stay in the Heart of Split

We had a wonderful (albeit short) two-night stay at Hotel Vestibul Palace. The service from Ivan and the entire team was truly outstanding — warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful from start to finish. While the hotel can be a bit tricky to navigate due to its location within the historic center, the staff made it completely stress-free. They guided us step-by-step, including helping with luggage from the parking lot directly to our room — a level of service we deeply appreciated. The facilities were clean, thoughtfully designed, and elevated in every way — a perfect blend of modern comfort and old-town charm. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Vestibul to anyone visiting Split!

Almost a month has passed and yes, my trip was made memorable from the start to finish (Apr 5 to Apr 8). Power is in the team. Hotel staff and team's attention to minute details is worth mentioning. Staff taking care of and providing comfort to customers is exemplary. Steven: His impeccable attention to my emails and his prompt responses were impressive. The moment I stepped into the hotel, he went over and beyond to make me feel at home—courteously gave me the news of room upgrade with the coffee kettle/ironing board with iron—offered drinks in lobby, provided detailed instructions of important landmarks to visit with step by step directions, booked my tour to Krka/Trojir/Skradin, personally gave me history lesson of the hotel, he walked me to the Vestibul place with his maestro singing echoing in the dome/roof/walls like orchestra acoustics. Next day Steve again went an extra mile to walk me to the Gray Line bus tour office. After I entered the room, there was a personal note from Mr. Nenad which was touching. Manager Valentino is professional, compassionate and kind to let me know that the restaurant Chef would be glad to cook anything I wanted since I had dietary restrictions. Petar's insight into Salona ruins impelled me to visit them. Marina and Tony’s help in arranging transportation from the hotel to the airport cannot be ignored. Housekeeping was immaculate, Morning breakfast was more than perfect. Ana capped the finale with bidding me goodbye and walking out to
