We booked this hotel due to convienence of proximity to Universal Parks. What a mistake! Hotel is outdated and needs some major upgrades. Parking is 33 daily and they offer shuttle to parks, but only runs three times and limited runs in evening. The carpets in room are filthy, our room smelled musty and of cigar smoke, and the shower head was loose on wall and spraying water. The lobby smells old. I could go on and on. We arrived a little early ahead of check in, room was not ready until over an hour and fifteen minutes at suggested check in time, which was 4pm. I never did get a call or text that room was ready as I was told. I had to go back up to desk and ask. My husband and son, had early entry for HHN and had to go to parks without ability to shower after 17 hour card ride. It is not anywhere near worth the price. Oh, breakfast Buffett is $30 a person.

The room was clean and all the staff helpful. We met Daniel in American Grill. He was such a great waiter. He gave us pointers on the parks we were visiting. He was knowledeable about the menu items. We liked him so much and found out he would be at the Sunshine Cafe so we asked specifically for him.

Upon our arrival our room had been canceled because they overbooked. No one called to tell us. After complaining about the situation we were offered a one bed room. We are 4 guests. After more complaining at almost midnight we finally received a 2 bed room. Our room was never serviced by house keeping we told this to front desk. The association brushed us off and we had to speak to a manger again. I do not recommend staying here. I felt aggravated on vacation.
