Disappointing. Overall, the hotel needs a refurbish, and it’s evident from the moment you walk in. The room was run down and showed were and tear, and the pool service was horribly slow—and charged an automatic 25% gratuity. I have stayed at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas, which is fantastic. This one is nothing like it.

Free upgrade was awesome. Room was amazing but not squeaky clean, definitely could have been cleaner. Everything else about this place was so stellar. Pretty pricey, but that's to be expected in Miami.

I showed up to a room with filthy pillows and bedsheet covered with dustballs. I took video and showed the front desk. They sent someone up to change the filter and change the sheets but this is when I first arrived and so plans were interrupted. The elevators were hot like saunas. I mentioned this to one of the bellboys who said he himself complained to engendering and was told it was fixed. My shower head was one of those giant rain shower heads with 100 holes problem is water came out of like 10 of them. You would think these things would be cleaned every so often. At the poolside, I was sitting right in front of the pool and couldn’t find a server to order lunch. I walked over to one and asked for a menu and she wouldn’t give me one cause I wasn’t in her “zone”. It took over and hour before my order was finally taken. None of this should happen in a 4 star expensive hotel. Oh, and the shower head was not fixed during my four day stay nor did anyone give me any updates. I’m home now - finally took a decent shower. I go to the Fountainbleau often have been going for years - this trip was a disappointment that will have me wondering if I should change venues next year.

The beach is the best, however, there needs to be more at the pool and if someone has not come back to their cars for 2 hours, the works should remove there towels.

The room was spotless and polished. The hotel was amazing. I was in a conference for 2 days and 3 nights, and I never left the hotel. I would love to come back again when I have time to explore the complex and surrounding area.
