Two serious shortcomings that are why would would never stay there again: 1. broken air conditioner that made a banging noise for three nights. Asked Concierge as well as Front Desk four times to have maintenance fix it. Each time required standing in line for 15-20 minutes, After the third time, they offered to move us to a smaller room with no deck, but did not offer a commensurate credit. (2) We paid $120.00 for beach umbrellas which we were allowed to use for a total of 10" before they said it was too windy and made us put them down. Not only would they not give us a refund, they were extremely nasty about it and lied that they told us that this was likely to happen. No one said a thing. A real scam. The Lowes is much better and it is where I will stay next time

The room was beautiful and functional. However if I had to comment I had two glasses that weren't quite clean with lipstain oils on them. That was it overal. Staff was friendly throughout resort always smiling. the beach was beautiful. Umbrellas you had to rent for $32. Wait staff always came around to ask if you needed drink/food. Didn't have to hunt them down. Pool is bougie.

My stay at Fountaunbleu was very disappointing. The staff was rude and unprofessional, and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. The room and bathroom were very dirty — we even found hair in the bathroom and nails on the floor, which was shocking and unsafe. The beach experience was also frustrating. We went to the beach at 9 a.m., but it was not open yet, and there were no towels available for guests. Overall, this was a very poor experience. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place to anyone

Room was not super clean - little stuff like a sticker and hair on the tub, drink can on the balcony. And I went to the terrific gym at 7:45 only to be told it closed at 8p. That's shameful. Coming from CA that's only 5p, but way too early regardless. They have NO business charging a fee if they're going to do that. Having spent $1k/night I expect better.
