recently booked my stay through Expedia, and upon arrival I was very disappointed to learn that the main pool at the property is closed. At no point during the booking process or in any of my confirmation emails was I informed that this amenity would be unavailable. The pool was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel, and not being notified beforehand has significantly impacted my experience. I would like to know what compensation or alternative arrangements can be provided for this inconvenience.

the Staff at the beach were very rude, took almost 2 hours to get my food to me, brought me warm beer, when I ask to please change it for cold beers, Staff had a nasty attitude and refuse to do it, I insisted and when he finally did, he took another hour to exchange 2 cans of warm beer to 2 cans of cold beer and basically throw it on the chair without saying anything , after that he never check on my and my family again .. the beach was dirty, the main pool was under construction, too many birds around in the pool and beach area .. I have been going to this hotel for many years, twice a year, with family and friends because to me it was one of the best 5 starts plus hotels in that area, but this time, the experience was horrible .. I do not think i will go back , for the price they charge I can easily go to the ritz or lowes

The room itself was beautiful and our view was beautiful as well, which were practically the only shining points of our stay. Bed was sagging in on one side. We chose this hotel because of its rich history, beautiful views, multiple pools and multiple options for food. We didn’t want to have to go anywhere. What we found was every eatery closed except one which didn’t seem to have any meals that would accommodate our diets (not to mention it was completely empty at 6:30pm) and the main pool being remodeled which closed off many other areas we were looking forward to. While we were told that the other pools were open- the only pool not packed was covered with a film and light debris. We didn’t even end up swimming at all which was a real upset for me. We then had to figure out where to go for dinner but wait - no concierge to help either. I was expecting a wonderful start to our 20th anniversary trip and was sorely disappointed. We planned this visit 8+months ago. Never got a notice about anything repaired or closed for the season but I sure got opportunities to upgrade! We ended up spending way more on dinner and Ubers to get somewhere to eat than the meals we planned on getting here originally. Great disappointment - it looked so wonderful online.

Terrible customer experience. Took 3 hours to check in, had to wait in line twice. Room wasn’t ready for 9 hours. and then they wouldn’t let me check out late, even though they f*cked me over on the check-in. Fontainebleau does not care about customers. Buyer beware

The room and view were beautiful. Stayed on the 35 th floor of the Trevor Tower. The elevator was very slow and overloaded…but once you made it to the main floor all was good. I don’t recommend the bar in the lobby…way overpriced. Seventy dollars for two ordinary drinks. Ate at Hakasan… thoroughly enjoyed that experience and the food was delicious. Glad we stayed here with just a few minor glitches.

Unbeknownst to us, the main pool was closed the entire stay for renovations. Multiple guests were refunded resort fees as a result, though not for entire stay. First night, the kids' pool was shut down entirely for a "private event", while the second night it closed at 3pm. Remaining pools overcrowded and dirty. Even better, all pools closed at 7pm. Super neat. Prices were ridiculous, but perhaps in line with comparable properties. Toilet in room required multiple flushes just to get water to drain/refresh. Mold in shower. Overall one of the worst hotel experiences we've had, unfortunately. Wouldn't recommend to anyone (excluding 20-something drunk crowd). Definitely not a spot for kids, though advertised as such. Sad.
