The resort itself is nice. Check in was quick and the staff at the desk were very friendly. We arrived to the hotel around 11am and were surprised to find our room was ready. Unfortunately, it later became evident that it wasn’t cleaned from the previous guests. The beds were made but the sheets were covered in what appeared to be feces, stains and hair on both beds and old cherios were left in plain site on the floor. For a premier hotel we expected much much better. I called down to reception and was greeted by a VERY rude lady who brushed off my concerns and said that she would let a maid know. After discovering more stains on the other bed I called again only for the same woman talk down to me. I finally asked for a manager and waited on hold for 10 minutes before he came on and said the best he could do was a $200 refund. Which I appreciated but I expected much better treatment and care by all involved. The apologetic, very kind maid did arrive and changed all of our sheets but it was clear that the rest of the room was not touched from the previous guests. Sleeping in a dirty, very expensive room was not what I expected from our very first universal experience. I would reccomend all guests to check their bedding before crawling in, which we sadly didn’t notice until after we laid on it.

The front desk staff were unfriendly and came across as dismissive, which set a negative tone from the start. We also didn’t receive the floral leis that were supposed to be provided upon arrival. Before our stay, I booked through Expedia but called the hotel directly to confirm that our reservation included the Express Pass to Epic Universe. I was clearly told that it did. After arriving, we were informed that it was not included. When I explained that I had called ahead to verify, the hotel refused to acknowledge the misinformation or even check their phone records, despite their system transcribing and storing calls. The lack of accountability and poor customer service was very disappointing. Because of the experience, we chose to cut our trip short and leave a day early. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again.

not worth the cost for the condition of the room. resort is okay. It is worth the value for the universal passes, but this place is not worth the cost. The furniture beat up. We were originally put on a floor where there was construction above, when I realized the situation, we requested move which was late at night. First thing the next morning they were cutting palm trees down, several floors up, outside my window with chainsaw, no relaxation time. very disappointed and would not recommend. they charge daily for parking, even when staying on resort. Positive was that is was walking distance to Universal walk,U.S. & I.O.A.

Rooms are a bit run down . Sink clogged and poor housekeeping barely made the beds. Was disappointed given the price of this hotel

Very friendly staff. Clean and nice scented clean sheets. Great bar and transportation. Perfect proximity to islands of adventure and universal studios park. Loved the express pass inclusion.
