We really liked this hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable and we even had a little fridge which was great for keeping drinks cool. There was a trouser press that we couldn't figure out. Mind you we were slightly concerned to see that the electrical safety testing was a few years out of date on this and on the fan that was provided. Saying that, it was lovely to have the tower fan and windows that opened nice and wide. (There wasn't Aircon but it was absolutely fine) The pool looked lovely but the weather cooled down a bit too much so we didn't try it out. The shower was lovely and powerful. There was plenty of tea and coffee. The breakfast was really nice (eggs a little snotty but still nice) and the staff were all kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything lovely for a older property. Staff lovely and helpful . Only downside was couldnt sit under canopy by pool area due to afternoon teas from outside guests ... an afternoon tea went on from 1.30pm till after 10 .15pm was roudy trying to get till sleep. Had a 81 years with me , feel it should of been held in a quiet room , allowed residents to use pool facilities.

Hotel entrance is lovely, the reception staff were friendly & helpful, the room was adequate very comfy bed but they could do with updating & air conditioning would be a must if I had to stay again, breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice & quality.

We liked the cleanliness of the hotel and you were topped up every day with coffee milk & tea in your room. The only thing that annoyed me was the noisy seagulls that kept waking me up 😅which of course nothing can be done about that😅

Lovely hotel. We loved the atmosphere and the cleanliness. Very modern and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and they had gluten free options too. We loved the jazz night and the food in the restaurant was excellent again with gluten free options.

Our room at the front of the hotel was unbelievably hot, we had to have windows open and curtains shut. The traffic noise from the road outside made it impossible to sleep and the fan made no difference. There is also a fire station across the road. We asked to switch rooms but there was no availability at the time, also not able to provide another fan. Even when the weather cooled down a little the room was still uncomfortably hot. It was such a shame as the rest of the hotel was so lovely as were the staff.

Clean. Staff helpful. Nicely located not right in centre I’d St Helier but within a few minutes walk. Second time I’ve stayed here and can’t really fault it. Room this time being on the second floor was hit at times, but that’s no the hotels fault, you can’t control the weather. Would happily stay again.

Worst hotel experience, poor approach to customer service and seemingly weak approach to room safety and standards. On arrival noticed internal door handle loose (so someone could feasibly get locked inside) and also damage to main light switch. There was also a stale smell in the room. Pretty nonchalant reaction by front desk but at least they managed to resolve the door handle. Worse still, that night we found the walls and even the ceiling to be paper thin. People simply walking in the room above could be amply heard with the floors creaking like an old house, certainly not the standard of a hotel let alone one of this supposed rating class. The manager clearly wasn't bothered as we mentioned the issues a number of times and were told the manager had been informed, but not once did we hear from them or even get an apology. Compared to other hotels, the breakfast left much to be desired. I'd give it zero stars a definate holiday dampener.

My room was facing the pool but did not have curtains to close. Something was wrong with my mattress..really hurt my back. Room was very hot so drank all the water provided on first night and was not replaced. Breakfast good and staff very friendly.

All the things we needed were excellent, and there were plenty of other things available we didn't need. The best healthy breakfasts we've ever had, and plenty of it. Cleaning and hygeine A1. Fridge was roomy, quiet and cold. Nothing to disloke.

We were helped by reception to deal with wifi, printing of boarding passes and taxi hire. All with friendly manner. The same was true of the dining room staff who were pleasant and professional and made our dining experience really enjoyable

Staff unfriendly and indifferent. Room bedding shoddy. Pillows and duvet too big for linen. Room extremely hot NO AIRCON and very noisy! Breakfast less than adequate - tinned pears and peaches everyday . Hot food barely warm. Dinner hit and miss. If restaurant busy food can wait a long time to be served- seemed chaotic! Hotel seems to be more front than substance. Cannot recommend.
