Good place for families

PROS: -Great location. Close to downtown, attractions, restaurants. Neighborhood felt very safe. Nice place to walk dogs around the parking lot, had poop bags and garbage cans for them. -Rooms were clean and in good condition, minor wear and tear that could be fixed. -Breakfast was as good, what you would expect from any other hotel. -Pool area was nice with plenty of seating. CONS: -Weed smell everywhere! Outside, the elevators, every now and then in the hallways. -Pool looked cloudy, was eventually closed for maintenance for the last few days of our stay. CONCLUSION: Overall a good place to stay, would recommend to anyone and would stay here again. We stayed for 4 nights while visiting St. Louis attractions, worked out great for our family of 4.

Noisey at Home2Suites

Everything was well except the noisy children in the room above us. Early evening we tolerated it but later in the evening we had to call to report it. The children quieted down then the adults retaliated and became louder!!!

There was a huge pee spot on the pull out couch that our kids were supposed to sleep on. The hotel is willing to refund us money but cannot because we booked through Expedia. Please call the hotel so they can do so.

What I enjoyed most was the breakfast spread. I was able to make a decaf coffee with dairy free milk at any time of the day. The breakfast had a decent amount of choices such as egg patties, pastry, cereals, waffles, bagels etc, though if you're someone with food allergies or religious restrictions (such as not being able to eat pork) then there may be cross contamination concerns with the layout. The room overall was clean, and had little items that made it great for me such as dishwashing soap and a fresh sponge that I could have used to clean dishes that I used in the kitchenette. There is a train station and bus station about ten minutes walk from the property. While I didn't see any stores very nearby, there was a snacks and beverages available in the hotel and Uber eats was super easy to use. The hotel staff at the front desk were also pleasant and helpful. Overall, I'd say I was content and would return!

Mostly Great Stay

Our stay was very good, especially for the price compared to similar hotels in the area. We appreciate this particular hotel & will most likely book there again. There were just a few anomalies this time compared to our previous visits. 1) there was no covering on the bedspring/bottom of the bed. it was exposed. It didn't hurt anything, it just looked bad. 2) When turning on one of the lamps, sparks shot up from the top. The front desk immediately called maintenance as soon as we told them, so hopefully that won't happen to anyone else. 3) Our other issue was the cleanliness of the shower. It needed some extra scrubbing; especially in the corners and edges. But again - overall, it was a pleasant and uneventful stay.
