Staff were friendly and helpful. Always offered recommendations and helped with taxis when needed. Parking was a little tough but not the Hotels fault. Just a rough area to park. Scenery was beautiful

The view was amazing and the staff were very helpful and were the best I have seen, always there to help. Only issue was the noise from traffic right off road. Road was busy and room could use some sound insulation. RM 109.

St Thomas getaway

We spent three nights at Mafolie Resort. Due to wind damage, the bar and restaurant were not open all hours. The friendly staff, tried to create options for food and drink. The hotel is a little “rustic”, but we enjoyed everything about it. We never had an issue with parking. As described, the views are phenomenal. This is like a bed and breakfast/ boutique hotel combined.

This is an older hotel with magnificient views of the harbor. There have been some upgrades done to the rooms though more are needed which they are working on. The restaurant is closed to the public but is available for bar and light food certain nights for hotel guests. Be aware there are many stairs and not a good place for anyone with stability or walking issues. Breakfast is included which is convenient but more variety would be nice. Overall we enjoyed the stay there especially the views and sunsets from the room balcony.

Beautiful spot with great views and wonderful staff. Currently there is limited dining but they have a good breakfast and bar was open from 4-6pm and it was great. Accomodations were clean and very comfortable.

This was a same-day booking and went smoothly. Room rate reasonable. Check in was excellent. Very friendly staff. Hotel restaurant unavailable due to renovation underway. Regular hotel office was in the process of getting a makeover. Our room was clean but shows a little wear still from previous storm damage. Bathroom vanity almost appeared to be a reclamation piece from a storm. Cable TV options very confusing with many, many choices but few that actually worked. Suppose you need to already have subscriptions to unlock these options.

Hotel Mafolie has the most gorgeous view on the island. It’s an old hotel in need of many upgrades, which are in progress. The restaurant and pool bar had been damaged in a storm and are in the process of being rebuilt. The pool is small but perfect to cool off in, surrounded by umbrellas and chaises. There is a continental breakfast served on the restaurant terrace each morning, and it’s satisfying without being fancy. The view overlooking the harbor is amazing. The staff is the highlight of the hotel, in my opinion. So incredibly friendly and helpful, with free pina coladas provided in the office. They can arrange taxis and day trips on request, which you really need to take to get downtown or for dinner. The room was clean and basic, with very good air conditioning! This is a bonus as St.Thomas gets hot. It had a terrace in front with a table to sit out and enjoy the view. We’ll go back in the future. The owner and staff are putting so much work and love into it, I can’t wait to see the result.

The hotel is perched on the hillside with a fantastic view. The room was large and interesting with a living room, table and chairs and fridge. The bathroom was a little small, but worked well for us. The room was very clean. There is a large step up to the bedroom area, and a small step into the bathroom. All in all, a very unique place!
