A trip to the nearby island of Nyord promises idyllic impressions with hollyhocks, small alleyways and pretty old houses. The coastal town of Stege offers shopping facilities, restaurants and a weekly summer market that invites you to stroll and linger. A day trip to the impressive chalk cliffs of Møns Klint is also worthwhile.
