Noisy Hotel

Number 1: AC was turned off & toom was stiffling hot. We had to have a maintenance come to open our window, minimal air, and a humming drone noise came un when window was open. Number 2: shortly after arriving on our floor, five to six kids ran down the hallway screaming and waving sticks of some sort. Number 3: the females on both sides of us, we could hear them talking and cackling. One side quieted down around 10:30. The otherside, in the "adjoining" room continued till about 2 in the morning. When 2 of the females left and loudly chatted down the hallway. We had the tv volume up to 18, at one point to drown out the cackling. When we went to bed after 12:00, we usually head to bed earlier but we were hoping that by 12ish they would have gone to bed and it would have quieted enough to sleep. As is, we were forced to leave the TV on, volume 10 for an hour, to try to drown out their noise so that we could sleep,which didn't help. My husband slept but not me. Shortly, the TV went off, I heard the females walk down the hallway & I was finally able to finally fall asleep.

We’ve enjoyed our first stay in Sydney. The hotel was clean and nicely renovated, the view from our room of the harbour was beautiful and our suite was spacious. The only suggestion would be a small bottle of body lotion, which I forgot to bring. There was only shampoo/conditioner.
