Go somewhere else - it’s cheap and nasty. Rooms are very dated, shared bathroom isn’t very clean, there is no reception so you have to go to the bar staff to make requests,it’s quite loud outside and overall wasn’t very pleasant

The staff was great, provided a place to drop our bags prior to checkin time. The internet was spotty on the morning we left, but it may have just been a bad day because it was fine the day before. There were only bath towels, no hand towels or facecloths.

The hotel is in downtown area, easily access to train, light rail and buses. Nearby (within 15 minutes walk) major attractions of Sydney (Opera House, Queen's Victoria Building, cruise terminal......)

A small table lamp would do wonders for them. Other than that, everything was as expected. Would recommend this place to anyone who's only staying in Sydney for a few days and doesn't mind sharing bathrooms or loud street noise till 2am.

We enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately our Room 31 was a bit smelly. It was very clean. I don’t know if it was the ventilation or the fact that the hotel is old. All the staff were friendly and the room was comfortable.

Check in was difficult as we arrived early and there is no one there until three to check in. Wasn’t a major issue but as the hotel is a pub first and hotel second was difficult to get new towels and shampoo etc. however was clean room and staff did respond to any issues. Location is amazing and overall was a good place to stay

Great location, comfy bed, good sized room and very clean but too noisy ; super loud from street and road noise all night and shower took ten minutes to get hot! Overall I would not stay again as I'm a light sleeper.

Room was on 4th floor and there was traffic noise, mainly sirens, which was to be expected given city centre location. We had a private bathroom which made it.all the more convenient. Hot water took a long time to come through but this was shown.on signs so you were.aware.on arrival. Would stay again. Less than a block to Wynyard Station.
