Location was very good Room was extremely dirty with hair on sheets, bathroom floor and bath &!really dusty .had to be changed and even 2nd room wasn’t very clean . Badly in need of renovation . Paint peeling and chipped ,rooms very tired

When we checked in there was a sock on the floor next to the bed from a previous guest. Safe not working properly. Heating system not great as had to get someone to come up to fix it. At check in no mention of discounts that came with resort fee.

The view was perfect for our honeymoon overlooking Madison Square Garden and Times Square in the distance. The room was clean and spacious, the staff were very helpful for things like directions. I would highly recommend the hotel. I did read other reviews about the noise from outside which was true, the police, ambulance and fire department have a game of who can play various tunes with their sirens. To be honest you get used to it, ear plugs were handy which were provided. This is one of the busiest locations in NY so if you want a silent surrounding then consider that before booking.

There was little unique about this property and I was massively disappointed with the experience here. Right off the bat, those exorbitant facilities fees are something people should watch out for. I didn't notice them until post booking so it's my own fault but to anyone reading this, watch out for the facilities fees per night!!! My room was tiny with barely any window due to the a.c. taking up the lower half of it such that you couldn't even look outside. The TV was a bit dodgy, as was the a.c, which also couldn't both be used at once due to the noise from the a.c. Any trip to the hotel desk took an age of standing in a queue due to being understaffed, including on check-in and check-out. The little store beside reception is absolute robbery - three small chocolate bars costing 9$!! Also, while not the hotels fault, the general area of 31st between 6th and 7th seems a bit dodgy and I wish I'd not stayed in that part of town. There are only two washing machines and dryers for this whole hotel! Which on a longer stay of 10 days for me meant I did need laundry mid stay. On attempting to use one however, another guest had decided to leave their wet washing in there and meant a big delay in getting my laundry done and getting out for the day to explore. The hotel manager seems to be a decent guy and trying his best but he's got his work cut out for him improving this hotel, I genuinely wish him some Irish luck!!

Very convenient & well located for sightseeing .Rooms a good size but a lot darker than photos on website. Enjoyed our stay & would definitely stay again.

The room was tiny and dirty, no way to control the temperature so was roasting hot. Damp on the walls and dirty floors. 2 fire alarms in 2 days and had to evacuate at 2 in the morning on one occasion for no reason. The worst thing however was the noise, absolutely no noise prevention at all. Genuinely one of the worst New York hotels I’ve stayed in.
