Jo heti alussa hotelli teki nuhjuisen vaikutuksen mutta vasta huoneeseen päästyämme huomasimme, että se ei ollut sitä mitä olimme tilanneet. Monien selityksien jälkeen saimme huoneen vaihdettua mutta siisteys oli todella huono. Hotelli kaipaa remonttia, jouduimme esim. kylpyhuoneeseen suihkuun ostamaan lattialle maton, jotta sinne uskalsi astua. Siivoojat olivat epäkohteliaita, kokolattiamattoa ei varmaankaan oltu siivottu moniin vuosiin ja hintataso oli melko huikea. Lisävuode kolmannelle oli parhaat päivänsä nähnyt vuodesohva, joka ole keskeltä niin pahasti linkulla, että siinä joutui nukkumaan poikittain ja tämä oli siis se isompi ja parempi huone? Sijainti oli hyvä mutta muuten sitten mitään hyvää ei oikein löytynyt, jaa ehkä iso jääkaappi:) en voi kyllä suositella kuin välttämään tätä hotellia ja aika monta hotellia New Yorkissa olen kyllä kokeillut

Es war das schrecklichste Hotel, in dem ich je übernachtet hatte. Ein schreckliches Bad, viel zu klein, alles viel zu laut, kein Platz. Kei WC-Papier (musste zweimal nachgefragt werrden). Alles scheint alt und schmuddelig zu sein. Das Bild ist alles nur Schein. Jedes Ein-Stern-Hotel in der Schweiz ist gegen das Stewert Hotel eine Luxusunterkunft.
