Very close - next door to one of the most beautiful parks in Taupo. Spa Park is home to several disc golf tournaments. Hole 6 is right beside the entrance to Grandeur. Very handy.

This place is a lovely, hidden away sanctuary. It was incredibly quiet and exactly what we needed for a relaxing break away from home. Don't expect anything flashy here, but they have absolutely nailed the basics. The kitchen and bathroom are newly renovated and had everything we needed, and the bed was super comfy. For our family of four, the Chalet layout was just perfect. Honestly, you cannot beat the price for this level of peace and comfort. We were really happy with our stay and would definitely return!

The Hotel itself is dated and run down (old heritage quirky). But it suited us as they allow dogs. The inside of our unit was ok and the bed was comfortable and clean. The surrounding grounds are great. A short walk to hot water swimming in the Waikato River. The room rate was very reasonable.
