Dirty. Garbage was left by housekeeping on every floor in front of guest rooms. The end of the hall on the 4th floor had an ice machine, garbages were stacked here and leaking on the floor, causing a mess and considerable stink. The police were called and there were people fighting all night. Horrible stay for an expensive hotel.

The hotel is beautiful. It looked as it has undergone a Nice renovation. However, there seems to be no attention to detail, i.e.over-flowing garbages, artwork not straight, and cigarette butts and trash littered the front entrance. At 3:00 AM someone on our floor was beating loudly on their door and a female was screaming like someone was killing her. Very unsettling. Then at 3:30 the fire alarm went off for a long time before it was shut off by the fire dept. Lots of unsettling commotion and not a lot of sleep.

Room ms are big

Staff was great, beds are ok, rooms could use a little more deep clean. Size of the rooms are fantastic. The restaurant is always so so for the food.

The beds did not have a fitted sheet, no soap shampoo or conditioner in the dispensers in the shower. And the shower curtain was visibly dirty. Not impressed. We arrived to our pre booked room at about 1am (road trip) so the 24 hour check in was convenient. If it were earlier we would have asked for all of this to be resolved but we were so tired we didn’t bother. Just can’t fathom how the room was dirty and lack of sheets. So strange and horrible for a $300 night

Excellent stay in with excellent lodgings. Only problem was I booked a room with two queen beds, but was told on arrival they could only give us a room with one King bed. It was an excellent room and bed, but concerned that apparently when booking through Expedia there is no guarantee you get what you book due to booking delays. Not a big issue but could be depending on one's needs. First time ever it happened, but staff did not seem to be too sympathetic about it. Hmmm?

I have stayed at Valhalla Inn countless times since 1982. The room price is a bit high. I love the location and hotel amenities. I have attended numerous conferences there also. It is MY hotel in TBay!
