Disappointing

Disappointed. Check in process was tedious. Breakfast buffet was mediocre for a Japanese property. At 10 mins before the 10 am check out time, a message shows on the TV saying you can extend by the hour for 2,000 Yen. We then had to wait over 15 minutes for an elevator with any space to go down to the 1st floor. Makes me think they should credit me 500 Yen for my wasted time. Anyway, there are many choices in the Shinjuku area and we will not be coming back here. We love Japan!

Cozy room, comfortable bed, great location. The amenities were great and the breakfast had good options. There are laundry machines in the basement for those who have been travelling for awhile. I would gladly stay here again.

Great stay but the room is a bit small for coupme

The stay was wonderful, however, the room seems smaller than it look from the picture. The room is very tight and almost no room for 2 luggage’s. Solo traveler is enough but not good for couple.

Great location-single room a little tight.

Booked a single room so was not expecting much. Room was a bit tight with a small window that was frosted so no real view. Had to use suitcase as bedside table. Large step into small bathroom. Location was great -close to Shinjuku gyoemmae underground on Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line. A short walk to main Shinjuku area and also right next to beautiful gardens. Spent most of time exploring this area of Tokyo so only really in room for nights. Staff were friendly with quick check in and happy to look after suitcase until 15:00 check in.

I highly recommend APA Gyoemmae; this is my second stay, driven by the following: 1. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. 2. The hotel's location offers convenient walking access to shopping areas. 3. Its proximity to the train station, convenience stores, and late-night dining options, such as ramen shops and steakhouses, at affordable prices is also a significant advantage.
