Our second time staying the APA Hotel. Walkable to the JR Shinjuku Station and it’s only 2 min. walk to the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line. Love the convenience of the location and the staff are super helpful. Highly recommend using the luggage delivery service to transport your luggages from airport To hotel and vice versa.

The hotel was good enough for solo traveller. Walkable to train station, food shops, convenience store. The staff on arrival were very welcoming. It has kettle, small fridge and basic toiletries provided. Highly recommended hotel for shinjuku area.

Choose another location.

It’s great for just a sleeping quarters. That’s all. There is no place to sit in the lobby. The location is close to one satiation and 8 min away from another. 15 min walk to shibuya area. Not the same as other APA, couldn’t put luggage under bed, room a bit smaller. I will try to get another location when I come back.

Is very well worth based on comfort and location, the only negative (not much the hotel but japanese culture) is that the spa and commun areas are limited if you have tattoos.....other than that is quite perfect for the price and location

The APA hotel is an OK place to stay. The location is really great! There are fantastic places to eat right around the hotel. The beautiful park is right in back. Unfortunately the hotel itself is not that good. The rooms are arranged in a weird way. There is no privacy in the restroom - anyone lying down can see through the frosted door. In addition, you can barely fit when using the toilet. The room feels cramped in the way it was designed. All you can do is pretty much lie down. The TV volume is terrible. They give you movies but you can't hear anything. The volume is capped at 30 and for normal TV it's barely ok, but for movies - forget it. You can't hear a thing. The hallways are not AC and are hot. So are the elevators - hot. APA hotels are everywhere and that part is good but so are other brands which offer better rooms.

Great place near a lot of fun areas. Close to the bars and nightlife scene if that’s what you’re looking for. Staff is ok w/English speaking for most part. Rooms are small but so are most hotels in Japan, also no guests allowed past lobby area.

We changed our final hotel stay to come back as we loved the area so much! Right next to all of the LGBTQIA bars and nightlife so it was fantastic!

Just okay...good location

Location is great and price was right, but the rooms are really small and the breakfast was not good. I shared a double room with my daughter (2 single beds). There was barely room for our suitcases and we had to move them out of the way to open the door (and put them on the bed to access them). There isn't a closet either. The bathroom is also very small (like a boat bathroom). I recommend not getting the included breakfast.The breakfast was not good and there are lots of nearby spots, including a crepe place across the street. There was a spa in the basement, but we didn't use it. This hotel may have been better for a solo traveler.

I only stayed for one night, but it was a great experience. The room was very clean and conveniently arranged. The area is perfect for walking, with plenty of entertainment options nearby. The amenities were also a great bonus and added to the overall comfort of the stay.
