I recently stayed at the Days Inn by Wyndham just outside of Toronto and had a generally positive experience. The hotel is situated in a quiet area, which made for a peaceful stay, yet it’s conveniently located near several dining options within walking distance, making meals easy to sort out. One of the highlights was the free WiFi, which worked well throughout my stay—a definite plus for those needing reliable internet. While I didn’t try the breakfast at the hotel, it’s worth noting that it’s available for those who prefer to dine in. The room itself was well-equipped with useful amenities, including a TV, fridge, ironing board with an iron, and a hairdryer. However, one minor downside was that there was no kettle in the room—only a coffee maker—which might be inconvenient for those who prefer tea or need hot water for other uses. A standout aspect of my stay was the friendly and helpful staff. I interacted mostly with Arjun, who was particularly welcoming and accommodating, making my experience even better. Overall, Days Inn by Wyndham offers a comfortable and convenient stay, especially for those looking for a quiet location with easy access to food options. While a kettle in the room would have been a nice addition, the well-equipped room and excellent service make up for it. Would recommend for anyone needing an affordable and pleasant place to stay in the area.

Okay, but won't go again.

The room was clean. The temperature was hard to adjust to get right. The toilet was installed loosely as were the tub fixtures. The water and ice dispenser was dirty. The fitness center had old outdated equipment and lots of junk in the hallway. The staff were kind and helpful.

The breakfast "buffet" was terrible. It had store bought mini muffins, yogurt, cereal, apple & orange juice, and a waffle maker. That was it. Limited parking. We did not interact with the staff, only at check in and out. The interaction was decent. The hotel is small, the room was very clean, nice, & updated with laminate flooring instead of carpet. It was a great size for a couple with the one bed. Great for one night. The one thing was that the walls were SUPER thin. I mean THINNNN. I heard every conversation from my room beside us. This was was a problem in itself because they were up until 3AM talking loudly as if they were the only ones there, them walking sounded like they had heels on. We had to find the front desk clerk to help us ring their room. Then they were up as early as 8AM talking with screaming children - not a great night sleep. The people who I visited the hotel with had a room on the bottom level. They had the very same problem hearing these people from above them - I'm hoping this wouldn't be a problem if the neighbours were more respectful of what time it was and didn't talk as loud.

Needs care

The people who work here are professional, kind, and courteous. The hotel however needs a LOT of upgrading - it's dirty, the paint is peeling off the walls and ceiling, and not very comfortable. It needs a significant dose of TLC!!
