A welcoming experience from start to finish! The staff were accommodating to our every request, housekeeping cleaned our room each day and left bottles of water. The in house restaurant breakfast buffet was delicious and reasonably priced! The location of Maldron Smithfield is prime for walking to all the local sights and multiple options for public transportation. I highly recommend this hotel and location!

Breakfast was good and a full Irish including white pudding, on the whole very nice! Room was very good but toilet was a challenge to flush properly but in all other aspect was good for the time we were there. Red route tram was about 6 mins walk away and was 4 € for a return trip into town.

Property is close to everything including a lot of dining choices but area around hotel needs the trash picked up. The inconvenience was the fire alarm going off at 1AM. Shower had issues and sink didn’t drain well.
