Wonderful staff, comfortable rooms and restaurants were good. A bit far away from city center with no shuttle so ubering got expensive.

Did not get a king bed like I paid for. Said we would be on 4th floor with the other two parties that were with us (our children), but one was on the 4th floor and two were on 3rd floor. There was a rave in town, when we stayed there. They got all of the young rave kids their rooms before we got our rooms, even though we had made reservations months in advance. They would not take money off my room even though we didn’t get what we paid for.

Lovely hotel with few issues

Room was clean and hotel was modern and fresh. Took all day for them to bring towels and mug and water for 3rd guest in room. Room had been set for 2 people despite a booking for 3. Quite far from city centre but convenient bus service not far from hotel and bus fare is very reasonable. Hotel has a policy that forbids guests that are not in a tour group from using the restaurant in the evening. You can use the bar for light food. This was surprising - never heard of this anywhere before. We did not dine in the city thinking we could eat at the hotel restaurant only to be told that only the bar was available to guests not part of a tour. It would have been useful to know this when we checked in.

We had a great stay, but on the last morning I woke to a message that oir flight had been cancelled intil the next day. Went to the desk and got extended another night. BUT the flight was delayed for another day, and they had no available rooms, since by now two days worth of airport travelers were backing all the local hotels. They desk staff tried calling other hotels, they looked on a booking website, but when all seemed like we would spend a cold rainy night on the Dublin streets, Ruben stepped up big time. Said he had a friend he could call. He must have spent at least 40 minutes wrangling me a room, vouching for what a great guy I am and sounding like my presence would light up the hotel lobby when i walked through the door. Finally, he arranged the room, but apologized for the lack of a free breakfast. When I agreed, he talked some more, and then told me he had gotten us free breakfast. I thanked him profusely, and he talked more. THEN he announced he had scored us complimentary dinner for two. Cannot say enough good things about the way the staff treated us, and Ruben deserves a medal (maybe a raise?) for his efforts.
