The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. In the summer air conditioning is limited to 26 degrees and in the winter heating to 21. The weak spot of the hotel are the elevators. Almost every day one was out of service, and a couple of them starts beeping overload with the third person in. The highlight of the hotel is the brunch. So many choises, and excellent taste. The juices are from concentrate, but there is fresh fruit, hot and cold dishes, tortilla Español, churros, you name it. And it really is from 8 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.! The hotel is in the edge of downtown, which is 150 stairs above the beach, but you can make it in 10 minutes if you are willing to sweat a bit. The hotel has a small pool that gets the afternoon sun.

Lovely and busy hotel.

The rooms would benefit from having a small fridge. It was also difficult to find clean breakfast table. There was not enough staff employed to clean breakfast area. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Best Bang for your Buck.

Beds quite comfortable, clean 10 minute Walk to San Miguel. Pretty good breakfeast buffet till 1:30. I met one rude front desk man when I tried to get a late check out.The rest of the staff were polite. The front desk staff seemed to be overwhelmed. My only real complaint is that it is a non-smoking hotel but the hallway was permeated with cigarette smoke. Also smokers go out on the balconies and could waft into your room. It did several times. Entrance to the hotel is often smelling of smoke. No really a comfortable chair in the room.

Very nice stay

The hotel was conveniently located near the beach, shopping street and the train station. The 1st room offered was having a bad smell. Upon informing this at the reception, they immediately moved us to another room. Very friendly reception staff. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Good choice for breakfast. We enjoyed the stay.

Aggressive hotel staff member I wouldn't recommend

When Ifirst arrived at in Tent the experience on arrivals was professional and straight to the point and I was able to check in early at around as I explained I'm traveling on my own to a spiritual retreat and I have anxiety being alone so I'd like to go to my room when I arrive if possible and this was made possible. I then left the next day and returned a few days later From arrival I was greeted aggressively from a male hotel staff member I was so confused at why he was treating me in an unpleasant manner. I'm a very friendly person and I understand people have bad days so I tried to keep a smile on my face while he wasn't so polite to me. I asked if I could have early check in, he said the hotel doesn't offer it so check in is at 3pm. I explained I did an early check in a few days earlier he told me I had not and approached me like I was lying. I explained I did he said go away and come back at 12 and I may allow you to check in at 12. He took no details may I add to check if I had a room available. I came back and there was a que and he was in the middle of checking people in so I went to the self check in as I seen someone there before. He shouted very loudly across to me while everyone turned, hey check in is at 3pm. As I sat down and watched him pass other people a key and direct them to there rooms and check them in early. I got up and I said why are you checking everyone else in but you won't check me in. He said because your room isn't ready, I

Gem of a hotel near to the centre

Lovely hotel, spotless clean and 2 min walk to the centre. Unlimited brunch was fab so much choice only downside was there was no butter available for toast or bread rolls. Approx 10.min walk to the beach down loads of steps of there is a lift which costs 50 cent each way

We had a great stay at this hotel. Marketed as a no frills hotel, but it was much more than that. The hotel reception staff were really friendly and supported us with check-in. We were kindly upgraded to a sea view room which had lovely views of the beach in the distance. What sets this hotel apart from others, is the unlimited brunch. We could potentially have breakfast from 8am, then go back for lunch anytime before 1:30pm! We chose to have a late wake up alarm and go for a later breakfast. There’s a lovely relaxing area around reception with a bar. They encourage you to order food in via JustEat, and have an area that provides you with utensils, serviettes and a microwave for your convenience- a great touch! We didn’t use the pool area as it was early March, but will definitely return one day.
