Around Torrevieja there is a fantastic natural area and in the impressive protected natural park Las Lagunas de la Mata you can go on tours on foot and by bike surrounded by nature. The pink lagoon also offers you a special natural spectacle, as not only the pink water is a special sight, but also the wild flamingos foraging in the water. There are also many beautiful hiking and cycling trails that take you through the La Mata wine region. The quiet town of Punta Prima with its popular coastal promenade and small bays, including Cala Ferris, and the Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar regional park are also worth a visit.
