Superb Hotel.

An immaculate hotel with wonderful attentive staff. The rooms are well designed with very comfortable beds. The breakfast is one of the best I have encountered, a massive buffet selection in a beautiful room overlooking the city. I love the roof pool and spa area to relax in. There is also another pool indoors with a sauna and spa facilities. An underground car park topped off my stay.

Stunning hotel overlooking The beautiful Trier

Really nice wellness hotel with stunning views beautiful pools and an amazing breakfast. Only small point in the recent extreme heat 30C+ we were staying in top floor room with great view , the air conditioning struggled the 1st night to cool us down no problems 2nd night !

Hotel actually was in a very nice area but Trier itself was a disappointment. The Moselle valley nearby was excellent

Lovely hotel with great service.

The hotel service is wonderful. Staff r v attentive. Food delish. The breakfast buffet is a treat to behold. Lots of choice including champers! Really nice that they serve until late morning too. Room was in the attic and had a great view of Trier. Very clean and comfortable. Decor and furnishings well maintained but could do with modernising. Limited parking at the property but it is free and the hotel will pay the tourist tax for you. We didn’t use but free use of infinity pool overlooking the city and the sauna. Could see from our room. Looked great and well maintained. About 10 min walk to the amphitheater and vineyards. And about the same to the Roman baths on outskirts of town. Trier centre is small so easier to navigate and get around.

Really, really nice

The online photos do not li---this is a beautiful property with modern features in a traditional setting. No shortcuts were taken in developing this property over the years. Very attentive and very helpful service, both in hotel and restaurant. Excellent dining with innovative options. Breakfast buffet was well done. Our room had lovely spacious, private balcony overlooking hills and sunsets. .

Perfect facility for my wife and I

Staff were superb. The food was great. Loved the quaintness of the hotel built in 1918 but recently updated and enlarged. I have no reservations giving this hotel 5 of 5 in categories. Will stay there again in the future.

Great Luxurious Hotel

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Villa Hugel. It is located walking distance from the main (old) part of Trier. It was probably a 10-15 minute walk to the Amphitheater and about 10-15 minutes to the bath houses. Great location and will be even better when the hotel parking is completed. The hotel had a great restaurant onsite and a nice bar. Service at the hotel was excellent. We also really enjoyed the room. A nice luxurious stay all around!

Beautiful boutique Hotel best we saw in Trier

Great facilities. Excellent value. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout 3 days. Good Restaurant food with great ambience. Breakfast was outstanding both in variety and quality , the best most lavish Hotel breakfast we have ever enjoyed in our many European hotel stays. Terrace bar with good views. Room was fresh clean and comfortable. Picturesque 15 minute walk to heart of old town.
