Really enjoyed my stay here. Location was great and easy to get around the city plus the mountains surrounding the are were beautiful. Plus the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Safe & lots of nearby neighbourhood amenities

COMFORT (hotel, neighbourhood) The area is very nice as it's North Vancouver, so you're away from the sketchiness of downtown. The best part is that the neighbourhood is very walkable with lots of cafes, food spots, grocery stores, parks, a mosque, and even large tourist attractions like the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain within walking distance. It's also very accessible by transit if you don't mind a 30-minute to an hour bus ride, like me. And given that I went with two other women, we felt very safe :) The exterior is more of a 90s/2000s feel, which I wasn't used to, but the interior is reasonably modern! The only downside of the dated hotel architecture is that it is not accessible as there isn't an elevator to get you to your room if you use a wheelchair, crutches, etc. CLEANLINESS It's very clean with a bit of dust in some areas, but that wasn't a problem for me, and I sometimes struggle with shortness of breath/asthma. They will also clean your room daily if you'd like; if you aren't interested, just let the front desk know. STAFF The staff are also very sweet and welcoming without being overbearing. They'll even hold your things for you if you have a later flight, as checkout is 11 am! FOOD I thought the best thing at the continental breakfast is the fruit (apples and bananas), so don't bank on getting a free meal if you eat non-dairy and halal like me. All in all, stay in this hotel if you're coming to Vancouver on a budget. Stay here!

Good location, close to downtown and outdoor attractions in the north Vancouver area. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast choices. Room conditions are not good, especially the bathroom, needs immediate renovations. Bathroom tile floor is not clean.

Priced well and only 11 minutes uber from the downtown core. Not the fanciest place but if your looking for a nights stay just to tackle anything downtown. This is the place to stay at.
