The restaurant had a view of the harbor and mountains and our room on the 16th floor was comfortable, quiet, and had a gorgeous view! The hop a bus picked us up right outside the hotel and we also were able to easily walk to nearby places of interest. All the staff were friendly and very willing to answer questions highly recommend!!

We were visiting Vancouver from Toronto for a wedding, and wanted a hotel that was super walkable to all of the touristy options as it was our first time. We walked to Stanley Park, the ferry to Granville Island and back to the hotel from English Bay. All of the walks were 20-30 minutes, which was nice and manageable for us, and not having to pay for transportation was lovely. The hotel itself was ok. The staff were all extremely friendly, but it definitely needs an overhaul decor and condition-wise. The retro theme didn’t phase me, as I’m not picky, but we did have some mold above the door frame in the bathroom, black ceiling discoloration where the return vent was, the carpet was lifting and little things like there being no screen on the sliding doors, no bathrobes and no lock on the bathroom door that didn’t close all the way, weren’t ideal. We ate the restaurant for lunch and dinner and both the patio and food were great, albeit pricey. I don’t think we would stay here again BUT we did see the renderings of the upcoming design updates, so if these are done, we would try it again!
